"So many things went wrong during this stay.
When we arrived it was difficult to know where to park for the valet. I know the parking is 3rd party but I had to call the front desk to assist me and the valet was in the lobby and still did not come outside.
I did not notice until the morning that there was no shower curtain in the bathroom and I didn’t have enough towels. I called the front desk and the staff said they would notify engineering and housekeeping. After waiting an hour I called the front desk again. The housekeeping staff handed me the shower curtain and towels. That unfortunately was the last time housekeeping came to my room. My trash was not emptied once during my 3 night stay. Towels left on the floor were still there when I checked out. The hotel manager was very kind and professional and apologetic about the issues that I experienced. I have stayed at a Sonesta property in the past but I am not sure if I would take my chances again. "
"The staff was very nice and the place was clean however the shower knob was not secure and kept falling off, the telephone did not work (the front desk stated they were sending someone immediately but no one came until 24 hours later to repair), and the vending machines were broken. The indoor pool was heated and efficient but not for young kids."
"The rooms were nice. They seemed clean and well-maintained. My only complaint with the room was the mold on the bathroom ceiling that has obviously been painted over numerous times. There is no fan in the bathrooms, which would have been helpful as it got quite hot in there with the shower on (and would probably help with the mold issue).
I did have two issues while staying here. One was with check in. Check in supposedly started at 4. We arrived close to 5:30 and were told our room wasn’t ready due to “linen shortage.” We had to wait in the lobby with 4 small children and all of our luggage for our room to be ready.
The other big issue I had was with the pool. It was very small and required reservations, which we were not notified of. The only reason we found out it required a reservation was because of a small sign posted outside of the pool alerting us to such. The reason we booked at this hotel was because of the pool, but it looked nothing like the pictures and was too tiny for all of the people that were in it.
Overall, staff was great. Room was nice. Pool and check in were not so great. "
"Overall, the trip was nice. My only complaint would be the lack of warmth from the front desk attendant when checking in. They were very curt and seemingly annoyed when I asked about parking. Otherwise, the stay was fine. "
"King room with balcony. Room 201 had a beautiful water view.... the rest of the room was terrible. Mattress was turned up at the corners. Visible lumpy mattress ... like it looked like kids were hiding in the bed. Asked about switching rooms but there were no other rooms available. I had an event to attend so i had to make it work. Drain in tub kept closing thus water pooling while showering. Fast forward to the next morning, we were tired & sore from sleeping on lumps. The balcony door didn't have a screen for fresh air without bugs coming in the balcony didnt feel safe in several spots, especially right out side the threshold.... the floor buckled & felt soft like you could fall threw. I spoke to several staff who kept saying there was nothing they could. I called again to speak to a manager yet they are never available. Very upset about the quality of the room. "
