"Fantastic base for the lake district. Staff were all really friendly. Site was quiet. No being woken up at night or in the morning. Leisure facilities were decent for a small site. My child had fun in the hour fun session they have in the pool. Crazy golf, ping pong, tennis and a playground for younger kids. The watersports centre is resonably priced. "Something of a surprise gem. First impression was excellent and the friendliness of the staff was really refreshing and continued from start to finish (thank you). Excellent rooms with very comfortable beds and great bathrooms (shower particularly good). In goes without saying you need a car and should approach from Lancaster (some very narrow roads otherwise -don’t trust sat nav). Would definitely return. "

"I wasn’t happy it’s not a real hotel but that was forgotten as soon as I walked in. Beautiful room with an amazing hot tub and fireplace. I could have spent the whole vaca here. I relaxed and slept well. Highly highly recommend and will stay here again for sure!"

"Very close to the centre, with restaurants and cafés. The self catering in the house was great too. The bedrooms were comfortable and there was a great living area downstairs too! The host, was very good. He organised an earlier time for us to get into the house and his directions were brilliant. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The house is nothing special but the bed was comfortable to sleep in and it was in the location we needed to visit family. The kitchen smelled like something was rotting, I think the bins hadn't been disposed of properly before we arrived. There also weren't any towels even though the advert says there will be. It's an okay place to stay as long as you're not expecting luxury."
