Unfortunately, the hotel itself feels old and poorly maintained. The interior is dark with outdated lighting. The front desk staff, although able to speak English, were unfriendly and unhelpful. Despite staying as two guests, we were given only one key card, and our request for an additional card was refused without explanation. Security and cleanliness were major concerns. Food delivery personnel were allowed to go directly to guest room doors, which did not feel appropriate for a hotel. The room was dusty upon arrival, with visible hair and debris left from previous guests. During our 7-night stay, housekeeping was provided only once. Floors, sofa, and surfaces were covered in thick dust, and even nail clippings were found, indicating very superficial cleaning. There were also several maintenance issues: a light switch near the bed was covered with a medical adhesive bandage, the sink area was stained, and a broken washing machine was left in the room despite being unusable. Bathroom amenities were provided but were extremely diluted and uncomfortable to use. A hair dryer was available. The only standout feature was the underfloor heating, which worked well and provided good warmth during winter. Overall, despite the convenient location, poor cleanliness, service, and maintenance make this hotel difficult to recommend.

Good please with excellent location for my visit at KangNam. Easy to check in in kiosks but dificult to reach in person staff for unexpected situations. Rooms are nice with good space. We had issue by finding a dead bug in our bed sheets...

Recommend to stay

When I got to the hotel they don't have a person in front they have a kiosks there where you check in and out. You can't check in a minute earlier you have to wait exactly at 4pm you have to put your reservation number you receive in your email. Room was big and nice every day they'll bring you clean towels and water. Its very quiet and the hotel is in a very good location near the train station, bus and taxi. There alot of restaurants and cafe from walking distance.

Hotel in Gangnam, Seoul, Korea

We tried to stay at famous Gangnam area but not so much to visit around the hotel. Starfield COEX mall is not too far but not walking distance. Good thing is Airport bus stop (going to Incheon Airport) is right in front of the hotel. Clean and nice area. We ( family of 4 adults) got a suite on 17th floor which has 3 beds. The one in upstairs in only mattress on the floor ( 2 story room). Noticed some dust on the floor. Otherwise it is a very nice room.

Mixed bag. Location is great, and the idea of the place is kind of neat. Our first room had black mold in the shower, and lots of dust in the rest of the room. We asked for a change of rooms, but as they were completely booked for that night were not able to accommodate until the next day. This was a challenge because the front desk is not staffed 24/7, and the person did not arrive at the stated 9AM, required a phone call to the hotel manager, 3 times, in order to actually get someone to assist. The new room was clean, or at least the bathroom was not moldy; still a bit dusty. It's definitely showing it's age, but can't really beat the price.

I had a late dinner get-together with a friend in Gangnam and found this place to be conveniently located near a subway station and only a few stops away from happening areas (Gangnam Station) at a reasonable price. Although it's located in the heart of Gangnam on Teheranro Street, it was quiet. The hotel is a bit dated but that's the charm and it was clean and had everything you need from kitchen to refrigerator, etc. Funny how there was a loft area as well lol. Only downside could be that the shower booth is TINY. And you have to open the doors from the inside so if you're obese or have extra pounds on ya, you might not be able to get through the space between the doors. Other than that, check in was easy (useful to know basic Korean or have an instant interpreter app in hand) and checkout was a breeze. Both processes are done via a kiosk and there are no front desk staff at this hotel.

They were so rude. I arrived a little early and asked to leave my bag, saying I'd go outside and check in at 4pm. Then the person at the desk pointed to a corner and said I could leave it there, but they weren't responsible for it being lost. Then they left.
