"Great"

"The resort seems to be distinctly divided into 2. The old part (ex-Hilton prior renovation) and the newly built part which mostly spreads down along the beautiful beach. Having finally arrived following a long flight and 1.5 hour taxi transfer we were most disappointed to find our names not being known to security at the entrance gate. This was then followed by drop-off at what seemed like a backdoor reception room. I was adamant we had been brought to the wrong hotel! No refreshing towel, no welcome drink.. Only afterwards we learnt that the lobby was still undergoing refurbishment. Fair enough but we weren’t informed. We were initially assigned a dark, tired room with aging decor, furniture and a far cry from our expectations having thoroughly enjoyed our stay at RIXOS Saadyat Island, Abu Dhabi the previous year. The following morning having requested a room change we were pleased to have been offered a chance to upgrade to one of the new suits, with direct beach access. Night and day! The new suites are beautiful, clean, modern and we are so relieved to have opted to change. Despite having to pay a bit extra, this completely transformed our stay. Most staff were very polite and extremely helpful. Thanks to the following staff who went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. Ambar at reception Stephen at Alena Anwar at Highloghts Highlights pool area Monir and Sujan at Highlights Bar Hamza and Jason at Sol pool Tun and Manika from Toro Loco Hirusha from buffet bar. "

"Excellent room, Kept clean and tidy everyday. Reception staff Audrey , restaurant staff May , Head chef and his team great food . Beach and Pool area Clean and good. Location excellent , along the boulevard, Lovely seating and walkimng along the boulevard with coffee and fast food , Toilet facilities and also a small mosque to do your daily prayers. Electric bikes and scooters with a Lovely playground for kids. "

"Our stay at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah was oustanding. The property itself is luxurious but what sets it apart is the level of service from all of the staff. I would highly recomend this hotel & area to anyone thinking of taking a trip to this area of the world."

"Room was neglected- dust everywhere. Cockroaches in room also, staff dismissed i have left here with bites all over my body. I stayed here before 2 years ago and the hotel has downgraded i wouldn’t ever stay here again. Staff were rude and unhelpful. They upsold us balcony rooms which we had to pay extra for upon arrival and the hygiene and cleanliness of the rooms were horrible. I lived in squalor for 7 nights and had to put up with it due to them not refunding me despite me seeing cockroaches and i have already spent so much money on this holiday and couldn’t afford another hotel. Wouldn’t ever stay here again"
