My friend and I stayed at the Dreamcatcher Inn during Easter weekend. While majority of our stay was average, it was not spectacular like we hoped.
First, I want to talk about the room. Our booking was misleading. When the initial booking was made, I was under the impression that the room would have a view, especially since the room was listed as a “Panoramic Two Queens View”. The room that we were provided was on the 1st floor and gave a view of the parking lot and the check-in building. Literally. Not a single view. The view out of the balcony/patio area faced the parking lot on the opposite side. Immediately when this was noticed, it was reported to the hotel staff and we were met with “well, we have nothing on the 2nd floor”. So, my guest and I pretty much had to deal with it. Fine. Didn’t make a big deal because what could we do? It didn’t seem like it was a huge priority of staff to even help accommodate or make other arrangements on different days.
After inspecting the room, majority was clean, until we made our way to the bathroom and found a used soap bar in the shower and some hair (assuming it was from the previous guest) that was clearly missed during cleaning. I can say that after we reported it, housekeeping came quickly to scrub down the bathroom. Much appreciated. Beds were comfortable, water pressure was amazing and strong. Limited space in the bathroom.
Location was close to many popular eateries and restaurants. Comfortable stay but wouldn't book again
