"A lot of the rooms have an ocean view (1/4 mile away). The staff were very helpful. We had a balcony and enjoyed the breeze coming off the ocean. A 1/4 mile walk dow to the sea cliff trail. Easy parking in the underground garage. A very nice location. We loved the Monarch restaurant nearby."

"Our stay at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar was comfortable and convenient. The property is beautifully landscaped and feels upscale without being pretentious. The room was clean and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed, quiet atmosphere, and a pleasant view. Staff were courteous and responsive to requests, though some interactions could be improved for consistency."

"Stayed there for 2 nights and it was ok for the price. Bathroom the si k was clogged and the tub. Once repotted were able to fix in a timely manner. No ice maker on your floor and went to the floor where there is the only ice maker in the entire hotel and it was broken🙁Fire alarm went off and all the staff kind ignored. While some guest didn’t know what to do. Will not stay there again"

"The grounds are beautiful. Well maintained. There were multiple events outside on the lawn. Breakfast at Greenfinch (?) was good and filling. The wait staff were attentive. The day we were at the pool, the cafe was closed. If you go to the pool, go early. If you wait, there may not be any chairs. We had to rent a cabana. Definitely not worth the money. In the first cabana, the TV didn’t work. In the second cabana, the fan didn’t work. We were told maintenance would come to fix it. That...
