I also had a negative experience with one of the staff members when I asked if they could open the door between the hotel and the garage. She responded rudely and pointed out that there was a sign saying the door was out of service."

"I stayed in the McCulloch Suite in the Sion Bass House (one of the two adjacent historic homes which make up this property). The suite was very spacious and clean. The check-in instructions which were emailed the day of check-in were very clear. There was a folding ironing board, iron, lots of extra towels, literature related to the history of the property and the city (for anyone who might be interested). "The best hotel in Ft Wayne"

"It's a good place to stay for a night. Staff was kind, but each time I needed assistance, I had to call the front desk number to get the staff attention to come to the front desk. The rooms were cleaned well, however there were a few stains in the bath tube and hair on the sink counter. The towels and shower curtain could be changed out. I was surprised the lobby did not have a public restroom for guests."

"I got 2 rooms for 2 nights, the staff was great, breakfast was great, but we had our hearts set on the pool it was the biggest part of our stay other than my husband going to the wrestling event, however unbeknownst to us the swimming pool was being worked on and not a drop of water was in it. They moved my sister to several rooms due to broken pull out beds, and to throw in the towel she found a roach crawling on the wall in the bathroom.
