"We arrived late in the evening as dinner was being served but after a slight mix up with our room we were given lovely cottage/house that was beautiful. We were only here for one night but it was so lovely. The dinner was simple but really enjoyable and all guests sat around the fire pit afterwards until late into the night telling stories about their travels. The staff here were so friendly and helpful and would recommend this place. "

"Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr leckeres Essen. Der Blick ist gigantisch. Die Zelt 2 war gut ausgestattet mit einem Kühlschrank Kaffee Tee und Keksen. Einen täglichen Zimmerservice gab es auch wo Handtücher gestellt wurden. Das Badezimmer mit eigenem Whirlpool war großzügig und mit Schaumbad Seifen Shampoo und Conditioner ausgestattet. Der Blick über das Taal mit Springböcken war gigantisch sowohl von der Terrasse als auch aus der Wanne!"

"Things have changed since I was last here , rooms are still good, they have upgraded their breakfast and the amount of choice is excellent,quality is good ,the grounds have been meticulously kept neat and tidy ,it’s a perfect place if you have kids to be free and play , such a treat to see the animals and wild animals that are close by,we really enjoyed our stay ,we were not affected by loadshedding-generator onsite "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at old Mill. We were in one of the tents which have air conditioning, which was nice since it was a little warm and it was on the river driving by the other places I think we made the right choice. Dinner was fantastic My only complaint is they say it’s working ostrich farm so I was really looking forward to seeing and interacting with ostriches. They had four that you could feed mind you. They bite a little lol and 20 or so as you leave. Besides that great place"

"I only stayed one night but this place was excellent and I will definitely be back. Super warm and friendly welcome, and excellent communication in advance of arrival. Room was clean, comfortable, quiet, set in a beautiful property. The sherry in the room was a cherry on the top of all this! Thoroughly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area or passing through."

"When we arrived at our destination very tired and hungry we got told that this place was fully booked. They made a dou le booking. Then the owner Hennie made a plan for us to stay in a cottage outside of oudshoorn. We did not make any plans for food as we thaught we will load off our baggage and get something to eat. But then we had to drive outside of town with nothing. There was no Wifi and we had to drive with our car up a mountain. We were very upset about this as i had 2 small children...

"A lovely 3-night stay at this homely, rustic-style guest house. With a warm, friendly greeting we felt right at home from the start. In a very convenient, easily walkable, yet quiet location right in the centre of Oudtshoorn, with a delightful garden and pool area and safe on-site parking, this guesthouse is a gem. Gerry is an outstanding host! He went above and beyond to provide recommendations and information on the area .... he even made restaurant reservations for us. Always friendly and...
