"This property is ALWAYS a total "10". We have been there now 3 times this last month and were super happy each time.
The dinner is prepared with love and wonderful fresh ingredients. Staff is friendly and helpful. Taxi arrangements are punctual and reasonable.
We absolutely recommend Varaba Country House! We are already booked for our next trip via Athens."

"Hotel was the nicest of our entire trip in Greece. The staff were very helpful and polite. The bed was very comfortable and room was clean. Jennys restaurant on the roof was one of the best places I’d ever eaten. I would HIGHLY recommend even if you are not staying at the hotel."

"I loved my stay here. The place is huge, very spacious, and has plenty of closets. Electra was a fantastic host who made us feel very welcome and clearly explained all the amenities. She even went out of her way to call and arrange our airport transport when we needed it. A wonderful experience all around!"

"This place is excellent if you are transiting from to or from Athens. The airport shuttle was fabulous, we caught it both ways to and from the hotel which is very close. There are awesome beach front restaurants a 10 min walk from the hotel for dinner or lunch. No brainer yo stay here!! Thank you to the owners for such a good service."

-close to the airport roughly 15-20min drive
-Netflix and prime on TV
-complimentary wine-did not taste great however
CONS:
-Shuttle STOPS running at 1030am and only starts again at 3pm BEWARE
-if you arrive early and shuttle has other stops you may need to wait. They refused to pick us up after our flight was early and we had to wait an hour
-taxi is 25€ to airport
-bad neighbourhood-would not recommend walking outside
-no elevators for luggage
-rooms not quiet, could hear neighbours...

"We stayed just one night, accommodation is clean but basic. It is 5km from the airport but the taxi takes 20-25 minutes. I paid 35 euro as we were 5 people (most pay 25 euro). I can’t say much about the host, I did ask for help with calling a large van but I think because I turned down the airport transfer of 50 euros through them she was not willing to help. She did tell me I could try taking the bus or call 2 taxis ( I was able to find a van but disappointed as I was travelling with 4 kids)."
