There was an issue with the smoke alarm in our room that the staff was very helpful with making right and following up on. The staff seemed genuinely happy to have us there and to help make our experience in Savannah a good one. "This property is great. Convenient to many of Savannah’s must sees, great staff and atmosphere!!! The only negative comment will be regarding Expedia. There was an additional “Destination Fee” which had to be paid to the hotel when we checked out. The hotel did give us restaurant vouchers to counteract this fee but Expedia should include this in the upfront fees when booking. We would return to this hotel if we visit Savannah again!!!!"

"There is not enough room to express how wonderful this inn is. The staff is excellent from my questions prior to arriving - Jennifer is amazing - to check in staff, the valet guys were awesome and so friendly and polite, the happy hour was sumptuous, breakfast - excellent. I truly have nothing bad to say. Our room had a small balcony and we were able to watch the river front activity. So cool. Thank you so much River Street Inn!! Our hearts broke a little when we had to leave. "

"I was a little bummed this time around. I’ve stayed here every time I’ve come to Savannah. First time though in a 2 bedroom. Sad the windows faced the alley. My room was next to the elevator. Obviously meant lots of noise throughout the day and night. Walls very thin. I must’ve been near a business because I could hear people’s names being called for their order in my bedroom. Also could hear the trash cans/workers in the alley as early as 4am. Also upon first entry a large water bug ran across...
