It is a relatively short walk to the hotel from the taxi stand by the Pile gate and there are only about 10 steps up to the hotel entry from the street. Well maintained property, would absolutely stay here again. The owner Jon was easy to work with and incredibly attentive and responsive. (Only thing to note for travelers is that since this unique property is within the Old City, several stairs are involved in order to access)."

"Great clean, modern property in excellent location - perfect when already walked thousands of steps! No steps to property, only inside as our apartment was on second floor. Quiet - somehow in one of the only side streets without a bar or restaurant. Double glazed. Some noise on wooden stairs from other guests & above but nothing too much. Great air con, comfortable beds, good shower. Apartment was perhaps a little smaller than appeared in photos but perfectly fine. Would recommend!"

"Room was very clean and modern, had a small kitchen which was nice. Staff were helpful. Lovely breakfast in the morning. Only downside is when asked to make up the sofa bed we were supplied with a duvet with a large brown-red stain on it and told there were no other duvets available."

Not sure if any staff is usually on-site, communication was by email Shower was unfortunately broken and drain clogged so that was frustrating. "Great location in the centre, but is also quiet at night, though if you are in a front facing room you will hear them setting out tables in the Square from around 6ish. The bed is extremely comfortable. The room we were in was very good. Staff were helpful. The only things to be aware of are - breakfast. It is very poor in terms of quality and also its quite cold in terms of the welcome you get. No one says hello, shows you to a table etc for example. The granola is possibly the worst...

"Clean, central, and walkable to everything in Old Town Dubrovnik. The bed was comfortable, the AC was super strong, and the kitchen, bathroom, and closet space all did exactly what you need them to do. Check-in instructions were clear and the host communicated well. Perfect base for a short stay just note you may have to climb many stairs to your room. Pricey but actually one of the more affordable hotels in old town."
