"We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very nice and accommodating and facilities, such as the pool and hot tub were very nice. The breakfast could use some home style loving, but if coffee cake and cereal is ok for you, it will be sufficient. We will be back."

"Great place to stay ! Has a regular restaurant attached and breakfast is free in the morning. Rooms were a little on the small side but were renovated clean and cozy. Only down thing was pool was closed for remodeling which is a good thing ! Lots of shuttle vehicles to get you around every where. I would DEFINITELY stay here again !!"

"One of the main reasons I reserved a room here is because of the pool. When the pool is closed it should be noted before you make a reservation. The grandkids were not happy, also the bathroom needs work."

"I had the end room at the end of the main floor. My door directly faced the back door exit that wasn’t secured. Anyone or anything could enter and exit at anytime. The gap under the door was significant enough for anything to crawl in but fortunately it was only the smoke from various smoked items. Cars parked right outside my window within inches The beds were hard and there were silver fish in the bathroom. I only had to stay one night but for the rate, I could’ve stayed at the wilderness...

"We had a very clean room, spacious. No couch but was comfortable. Very clean pool area and welcoming staff. Our children were very loud in the pool area but we were still treated kindly. Breakfast was alright too. We've chosen to stay here everytime we make the trip to the House on the Rock or Cave of the Mounds because our rooms are always well cleaned and this place has many unique traits for a hotel. Very pleased."

"The facility is clean and modern, with a very good breakfast area. However I could not check in for 2 hours after the scheduled check in time because my room was not clean. I don't know if this was due to understaffing or other issues, but we needed showers after hiking and almost missed our dinner reservations because of this delay. The desk staff seemed disorganized, asking for our info repeatedly, and were not very helpful in offering options or updates."
