"Akis and his brother are obviously hard working entrepreneurs. The room was above average but did have a mustiness to it that we got rid of by leaving the doors and balcony open. This is a residential area. However. When we needed rides or information they were 100%. Both Akis and his brother have much better english than my Greek. But if at all possible, if you want a history lesson and great conversation, ask for Vasillis (😬) to drive you into downtown Athens or on your day adventure. There...

"This property is ALWAYS a total "10". We have been there now 3 times this last month and were super happy each time.
The dinner is prepared with love and wonderful fresh ingredients. Staff is friendly and helpful. Taxi arrangements are punctual and reasonable.
We absolutely recommend Varaba Country House! We are already booked for our next trip via Athens."
