"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

"Lovely property with covered outdoor patio and pool. Daily homemade pastries were the breakfast feast. So quaint delivered in a basket. Very helpful owners and speak English well. Fabulous. "

"We had an excellent stay at Aux Boris de Marquay. Natalie and Erik were wonderful hosts and made great recommendations for places to visit in the area. The accommodations were great, bed was very comfortable, the flowers and grounds were absolutely beautiful. We highly recommend this place even though it is a short drive to the town and surrounding castles and gardens. Marquaysaac Gardens was very impressive. We would definitely stay here again."

"Heaven on Earth. The Maison de Marquay is the heart of the Dordogne. It is the most pleasant hotel I have ever stayed in. It is tiny and you are a member of a very close nit family headed by Marie-Laure and Gerard who make sure you are supremely well cared for. There is absolute privacy if you wish or delightful company if you choose. The hotel is not as old as it appears but is filled with beautiful antiques and charm. Marie-Laure and Gerard rebuilt the Maison to their high standards...
