"This is such a beautiful hotel right by the National palace in Sintra. The room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable. We also enjoyed the balcony especially in the evening and early morning when the town is quieter. The breakfast was amazing and had a beautiful view of Quinta de Regaleira through the window."

"This was a small private room with bathroom in a guest house in a great location a minutes walk from the tourist information office . Great location for walking around . This operation has two separate properties very close by on the same street . We made the mistake of going to the second property which was well signed with the guest house name but the registration office was at the first house that was not as obvious . To make things easier for first time guests I would suggest signage at the...

"Great location right by the old town and Quita de Reguleira. Don’t go there with a car though, there is no parking. Great breakfast and large bed (king size), love it! Very quiet overnight as well. We would stay there again for sure."

The grounds don’t match the photos and there is no reason why the grounds can not be cleaned up and made more presentable."

"This was, by far, one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The walkway was ancient, rundown, and felt downright unsafe. The rooms? Beyond outdated—borderline uninhabitable. To make matters worse, the lift was old, creaky, and felt incredibly unsafe. How this hotel ever received a rating of 8.0 is beyond comprehension. It’s shocking and unacceptable that Hotel.com would allow such a misleading rating to stand. I trusted your platform to guide me toward quality stays, but this was a complete...
