"The property is at the outskirt of the town. There are no sidewalks, but people are use to walk 5 minutes to reach the town (300-500 mts?). If you are driving, you get anywhere from there in a short drive. The place is modern and very clean. During my stay, the staff was the owner son and he did a great job. I asked if I could have some ice and he actually got me a small bag like made me wonder if he went out to buy it! The room size was amazing for me as a solo traveler, a queen bed and space...

"Chambre propre à notre arrivée Nous avions réservé pour 3 personnes et 1 personne se retrouve sur un lit pliant avec un matelas hyper fin donc les ressorts étaient très présents.je l'ai signalé on devait revenir vers moi ... mais pas de nouvelles... Nous n'avons jamais eu en 1 semaine de nettoyage de la chambre comme mentionné sur l'offre de réservation. Draps pour la semaine non changés et serviettes 1 fois. "This was mine and my wife’s second stay at the stunning Hotel Raito on the Amalfi coast. Just a 45min taxi from Naples and couldn’t be situated in a more breathtaking part of the coastline. The hotel and its staff are 5* all the way, so attentive and caring with nothing too much trouble, Giovani at the pool bar, Carmelo and Kate at the lobby and Ido the waiter all made our stay so special. The rooms and views within are simply stunning. Superb food choices at the hotel restaurants and the handy free shuttle bus from the hotel into the local village of Vietri is another must with lots of choices of shops bars and restaurants as well as the beach."

"4 person room was ample and the view was amazing. Breakfast was nicely presented and not rushed. The pool area was well maintained and great for relaxing in, the water was a tad chilly getting to get into but great to cool down in after the hottest summer on record! All staff incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, with nothing too much bother to research if requested. The walk into the town (and therefore back up again in the evening) was the only downside but with careful planning this could be just once/day and the escalators going part of the way back up certainly helped! Definitely worth the money and we highly recommend."

"The hotel is on the coast line and is lovely, rooms could do with a bit of updating. Staff friendly and can speak English. It’s a 15 minute walk up a hill to the town for restaurants and shops - buses don’t seem to run in the evenings. So maybe not a good choice if you have travellers with mobility concerns. Old town centre is very pretty. There is not much for kids to do though. Also, I didn’t take into account that the hotel charge for the ‘private beach’. It’s not actually a beach, but a decking into the water. This is 15 euros per day, per person. 20 euros at weekend. Apparently this is cheap …. There is a free public beach which is 15 mins walk down the hill. It’s a bit of a squeeze but ok for kids. This is probably more of a hotel for couples than families."

Hotel Polo Nautico

"We used this hotel for Amalfi coast visit. Hotel is located well and took about 10 to 15 min by taxi from the train station and the ferry dock. There was no Uber or lyft and we used a local taxi(10 to 20 euro dependingon the traffic). The room looked a bit outdated, but well maintained and clean. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the season, but this facility is the only one provided the mosquito stick vaporizer for the room and the electric mosquito trap in the hallway. The hotels we stayed in Italy never provided them . The breakfast was even better than other places and the view was great. The staff was very kind and helped me to arrange a local taxi because we had to be at the station in time. There are variety of choices for the restaurants nearby but the most of them open 6:30 or 7:00 for the dinner."
