"The cabin was an excellent calming retreat listening to only the sounds of the birds and nature. The steps up to the cabins can be a bit steep (up to 30cm/ 12 inches) but assuming you are there to hike Park Tayrona it's a good warm up for the trails in the park. Breakfast and dinners were excellent and Kevin our front desk person, arranged an early breakfast so we could get to the hikes at break of dawn. "The breakfast is totally worth it. It has lots of options and the food is fresh and delicious. The rooms are spacious very comfortable and super clean. All staff are super friendly. There is security everywhere on the property ensuring all guests are safe. I recommend this property hands down. I am looking forward to returning with my granddaughter and my family. I traveled with my husband only and we wished we could have stayed longer. The food is excellent quality we ate at all the restaurants within the property. All restaurants had an excellent menu and super affordable. You can use all the amenities from the different towers. The beach is beautiful and super clean. There are tons of lounge chairs and canopies. The entertainment team works hard to make guest feel comfortable. My next trip I will not do any tours I am just planning on staying at the resort to enjoy longer. Also the hotel offers free shuttle service to and from the airport. This was excellent. The resort is within walking distance to a small shopping center and a super market. Looooved irotama resort."

"Clean room and kind staff who were willing to help all the time. Spacious and nice pools with bar; however, there were not enough seats in the pool area for the amount of people during high season. The beach is nearby (around a 2min walk) and the property provides a specific space for their guests, as well as towels and chairs. "

"Our experience at Irotama was amazing. The grounds are incredibly beautiful, well-tended to, and clean. We stayed in a bungalow which we found very comfortable. It was enjoyable to sit out in front in the morning to have coffee and enjoy the view. It felt very private and was quite comfortable. The beach was beautiful, swimmable, and unobstructed by buildings. We could view it from the bungalow, shaded beach chairs/table, and restaurants. There are vendors who walk the beach selling a variety of goods-jewelry, hats, food, drink, massages. The less we engaged, the more we were left alone and vice versa. Bring Colombian Pesos if you wish to purchase anything on the beach. The pools are excellent! I loved the main pool at ground level, especially swimming in the late afternoon and evening. It wasn’t too crowded or noisy. The staff at Irotama were so friendly and helpful. We speak English and some Spanish and found very few English speakers. Downloading a translation app was helpful for more complex interactions. Aside from meals at Irotama, shopping and food is available a ten minute walk away at Zazue Mall. There are many options to choose from, as well as a grocery store. There is also a small convenience store on the road in-between Irotama and Hilton. It’s simple to get to Irotama from the airport and back again. A shuttle runs on a regular schedule. I would definitely visit here again. "
