"The staff at check-in was very helpful even though he spoke no English we were able to communicate effectively and he helped us to figure out our parking spot in a private lot, which is definitely a challenge in Palermo! The rooms were small, but neat and clean, perfect for what we needed for our stay. The building does not have any windows in the hallways, and so the lights automatically turn off, which took some getting used to, but wasn’t a problem in the end. it would be nice in the...

5. Dimora Bellini residenza d' epoca

Pusat Bersejarah Palermo

"This property is right in the center of the old city and the major attractions - -theater, cathedral, monastery, 4corners. The room was clean and cozy and had an espresso machine for use by guests. I arrived a day later than my reservation and had some difficulty contacting the manager for an entry code. The area near the property is noisy at all hours. The restaurants near the property are nothing special and a tour guide informed that many of them are franchise restaurants."

"The sights are close. The room and bathroom are clean! And the main street, where there is a lot of life. That's no problem. However, you couldn't rest during the two days. The bed mattress is stretched out. So it's quite uncomfortable. Every time you open the door at the main entrance it is very loud because the chain hits the plastic. This could be avoided if there was not a single door to your room. The windows are old and all the noise comes in. A The trash cans are on the street under the...

10. Locanda del Gagini

Pusat Bersejarah Palermo

"I really loved this place. The room was a cross between an elegant hotel room in a classic hotel to a guest room in a villa. This place has true, old school vibes while being perfectly modern in all amenities. The location is perfect. Two minor cautions. First, must be able to carry your bag up stairs and not be uncomfortable climbing them to get to your room. Second, make sure you get check in directions because the desk isn’t staffed outside their listed hours. I hope to come back because I...

"Palazzo Pantaleo is a well kept bed and breakfast. Upon arrival we were greeted and welcomed by Giuseppe who was very nice and attentive to our needs while staying in Palermo. The room itself was clean, large, baby friendly (they gave us a crib), had lots of storage space and had all we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast included with our stay delicious and had good variety. Giuseppe and Dario were very helpful in arranging transportation for us to get to where we needed to go. All...
