"fun getaway"

"The way that the motel was redone was nice. We had a big room and a pretty comfortable king-sized bed. We didn't really use any amenities because we were there for about an hour before we had to leave, got back late and then left early the next day. The place felt clean and the grounds had activities for people with kids to do. It was pretty central to places to eat and hang out. We would stay there again."

"Thew staff was so nice - from the front desk to the housekeeper. The rooms are spotless, lobby and pool are very clean. Breakfasst was yummy. It was a pleasant stay and we will stay again if in the area."

"We stayed one night for Morgan Wallen. They were nice and let us check in early since we arrived early. Our room was decent and definitely recently renovated. But the floors, couch, chairs, end tables were all dirty. We ended up going to the store to get cleaning wipes and a small broom to clean the room up enough to be fairly comfortable. The sink and bathroom areas were all clean though. We didn’t use any amenities since it was for one night. Overall it was decent for a quick one night stay...

"Room had a terrible smell. The 4 rooms next to ours had a fire and had no windows or anything. My socks turned black from walking on the floor they were that dirty. Staff was friendly but the overall conditions were terrible. Sat on the bed it almost tipped over. Def"

"Nothing good about this property, rooms are disgusting . Roaches every where, bed sheets with burn holes in the sheets and mattress . Literally nasty we walked in the room and walked right out and left the property . Not sanitary to even use the bathrooms."

"Quiet and private location. Gene is a great lady who gave me great local restaurant recommendations in downtown High Springs and she made check in experience a breeze. Rob is also wonderful who replaced my smoke alarm battery as soon as I told him. Taylor another lady was very helpful and respectful. Overall it was a great experience and when I visit again this hotel is where I’ll stay"

"The only contact I had with staff was through a small bank teller type window while I remained outside. The first thing the clerk demanded was a fifty dollar cash deposit. I guess that should have been my notice this was not the kind of place you would visit with family. The motel looks like something from an old 1960 movie set. The room entrance door had a strong spring which would prevent a child from escaping in an emergency. The floor felt sticky and a few of the light switches did...

"Never Stayed...FILTHY We arrived Friday excited for a great weekend getaway, but unfortunately our experience started off terribly. When we arrived to check in, our room was not ready. We were told it would be prepared while we were out, and since our key wasn’t working, staff told us they would let us into the room when we returned. When we first saw the room, it was absolutely disgusting. It honestly looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. I didn’t even want to put our belongings down....

"The Air B & B was amazing. The property and the A B & B was awesone, Clean, Quiet and very comfortable. Although some nights got a bit chilly and this property only had AC no heat. We managed just fine. We left it in perfect conditions according to the directions they wanted it left in. Thank you so much and we will be renting again. We also would recommend this to others. "

"Short stay, late check-in which was pleasant. Didn't get to breakfast so can't provide any details there. Room appeared clean but there was a musky smell in the room. Maybe the carpet? Interactions with staff were good. "

"Overall, I had a good stay at Holiday Inn Express Starke by IHG. My room was clean and for the most part the bed was comfortable, which is always important after a long day. The only issue I had was that there was no TV remote in my room when I arrived.
