"Very quaint property with attentive manager. AC worked wonderfully. Property is right on the water with a very small sandy beach. Barefoot bar is literally on the other side of the fence. Bring ear plugs if music bothers you at night; they close at midnight so not too late. My sister and I stayed here on the weekends during a two week stay in Belize. "Captain Jak's took great care of my wife and me during our recent stay. The staff were incredibly kind, our room was tidy and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff did a great job. We were pleasantly surprised at the amenities we had available to us - we found out we had free access to bicycles during our stay, and we were able to book a private shuttle from Placencia to Belize City at the last minute for a very competitive price.

"This was a fantastic condo. It has 4 units and shared laundry. We had the front unit looking at the owners house. Not really sure how they plan on parking for 4 cars as they are rebuilding the property fences. More than likely, golf carts only in the future. Anyway....EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC! And you have resort access for 2 other places as well. This was one of the few places on the boardwalk we could park a car because we were passing though going south. These folks get 6 of 5...
