"Horrible customer service, tried calling to cancel as our flights to Panama were cancelled and they had no number to call, the number given was a house number. Expedia tried calling and no answer in the end we lost out on our money, we lost out on the hotel. "
"We wish we could have had time to use the spa, but not on this trip. The property was stunning, the pools were perfect, the complimentary happy hour was a very pleasant surprise, the food at Fuego was amazing, the complimentary breakfasts were the best among the 4 hotels we stayed at on our trip. Everything was super clean and well maintained and we loved checking out the art everywhere we walked!"
The Buenaventura Golf & Beach Resort Panama, Autograph Collection
8/10 Good
"The property is beautiful and our kids loved their time in the many pools - as well as in the ocean! My one minor complaint is that the shower leaked out the bottom of the door - otherwise, everything was great!"
"The hotel is beautifully located surrounded by a tropical garden. We had a luxury room with a pretty view but to get there we had to climb very steep steps.
The food was very good but the dinner/lunch menu was the same the 4 days we stayed there. "
"The property is clean, the beach is beautiful, pools are nice and food was good. Had an oceanfront view which was perfect. The things that lacked for us was fridge refills every two days, if you called in between then never return unless you call. Room cleaning was mediocre if they showed up each day, never left extra toilet paper so if you run out you have to call for more. gym is small and only one treadmill and elliptical working but does the trick with weights and cable stack machines but is also quite warm and no windows shades to keep sun out. They still using towel cards and run out of towels occasionally. There is also no room service which doesn’t matter to us, always food available. Buffet is a seat yourself but the drink service was quick and the staff are always on the move and great to deal with. Sports and is 24 hours with snacks, drinks and the best coffee on the property. Checkout was odd for us, had to wait for them to check the room before we could check out. Didn’t take long (10 minutes at most) but still not something we have dealt with elsewhere. This is a 4star for us and we did have a great vacation overall. "
"Ariel and his dog Musica are wonderful hosts. Arial took the time to drive us around the town. Located next to a bubbling brook, his place is creatively decorated and has a lot of open spaces to relax. It is within walking distance from the start of the La India Dormida trail. We stayed with Ariel for one night. If felt more like we were visiting a friend than a business."
