Unfortunately as much as I wanted to love this hotel with it's history, it was not the best stay for us. The location was great, walking distance to the beach/restaurants, but the room we had was very old and run down. We did not stay in the main building, so I cannot speak for that, but our room was more like studio apartment style with kitchen and the bathroom was very very old. This property has so much potential, but needs some updates.

We love our stay at this “classic” spanish style Santa barbara hotel. Beautiful setting and our large upstairs room had a balcony with a view of the town, the sea and the mountains Very peaceful yet close to the sea, the restaurants, the funk zone and downtown Santa Barbara

Decent stay just don’t understand the $50 fee after my stay. impossible to get ahold of front desk breakfast is just cereal and a outdated waffle maker. Room was nice a lot of improvements need to be made to improve overall experience.
