"Quaint boutique hotel just minutes from the Greek ruins. Hotel lobby is beautiful as are the expansive grounds. Our room was very small, but that is our fault for not verifying the room size when we booked it. Wifi bandwidth was limited but we were able to stream/FaceTime with periodic disruption. (The hotel did also have some internet issues when we checked-in.) Very good restaurant on site - Michele the maitre’d/ sommelier was very friendly and gave us some wonderful recommendations for wine options. He proudly showed us his wine cellar and various wines that he stocks from the region. Really enjoyed our stay."

"The hotel looks lovely from the moment you approach. We managed to walk from the train station (Capaccio Rabadiccio) to the hotel. The room was a good size, with a nice closet, safe and drawers. It had a nice balcony with chairs. The free breakfast was so great! The Buffalo Mozzarella and tomatoes with real flavour"

"Close to the beach (15 min walk), but what we appreciated the most were that they had bicycles to use. The condition of the bikes was just okay, so you have to be a bit picky, but they were great for getting around since there seemed to be no local bus service in the area. It took about 20 min to ride to the archeological park and just a few min to get to the beach where there is a long promenade along the beach. The front desk was very helpful and pleasant."

"I liked the look of the Marchesina Hotel. Very spacious, easy flow, lots of areas to sit, Our particular room, a little needy for traveling tourists with suitcases and places to hang toiletrybag, towels. I would say a little upgrade is needed in respect to tourists needs in a oom."

This place looked beautiful from the outside and a beautiful interior presentation. To sadly find out that the hotel customer service did not match its beauty. Front desk reception was difficult and challenging with very unhappy faces. Breakfast staff was unfriendly and could not get a welcome smile from them. Dinner staff was just as unfriendly. I might say to be fair the housekeepers were very nice and helpful.probably to fair the staff is overworked at the same time if they want to be in the hospitality business they want to trained the staff to be friendly. "
