"Owners friendly and willing to make your stay as comfortable as possibile. The owner ( Vincenzo) was happy to prepare a warm flask of water each evening for my ' cuppa' of British tea!
There is a swimming pool adjacent to the establishment for a small fee & the sea is literally 5 minutes away."
"Esperienza orribile. Alle 8 e 20 iniziano a bussare in maniera insistente fino a che entrano in camera e la signora delle pulizie dice di dover lasciare la stanza perché stavano arrivando altri ospiti; quando l'orario del check out era alle 10:30. "
"The language barrier was definitely an issue. We were greeted in the street by the off-site host who was upset that we were planning to check out early even though we said we were paying for the extra night and despite the fact that we had emailed June 22nd that we had to shorten our stay. This is not a typical B & B. It consists of 4 rooms and a shared kitchenette on the same floor as 2 private apartments in a multi-story building above the pedestrian area. No blow dryer or iron is provided....

The staff was so very nice to everyone there and to me this is the place to go to the beach and you have a secure place to stay and that’s very important at this time. The staff was made up of young adults. It was so refreshing to see them work love the place."

This was an incredible and unique experience in such a lovely old castle and friendly village. I can't wait to come back and bring more people with me to experience the same. "Pulling up to Tenuta Contessa was like a dream. It was a quiet time with very few guests when we stayed. The pool area was lovely but the showstopper was the food and the chef, Pietro. He was personable and made us family style meals according to what we wanted. Very accommodating. The views here are also spectacular surrounding the entire property. "
