My room was pretty basic considering that this was priced as a a “resort”. It had one uncomfortable chair. In the room. There was no table to eat a snack at. There are no facilities for meeting or working out. Where they could have set up lounge chairs in a nice shady area, they would not even when I requested it. There were biting red ants on the property. There was only a small bar service at the pool, no poolside or beach side drink service. No umbrellas beach side. No view other than the parking lot. This is Not a Resort! It is a very basic motel.

I apologize that you were not happy with your stay. We do have a meeting room on site that is adjacent to the restaurant should someone wish to have an event with us and we also have a lounge in the restaurant and 2 sitting areas with couches in the reception area for guest enjoyment. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to serve alcohol on the beach due to the laws against alcohol on Sanibel beaches, but the tiki bar does serve drinks as well as food for poolside dining or to go!

We really enjoyed our stay at the resort. Being able to walk right out onto the beach is what drew us. The pool, pool bar and burger bar were great bonuses! There were beach chairs and beach towels provided which made traveling easy. The rooms were very well cleaned and had been updated recently. The resort was not far from shopping or restaurants. We will be back.

Limited access to dining and shopping. If you decide to stay at Sannibel Island Beach you will need deep pockets. Resort was clean. Easy check-in with courteous staff. However, Sannibel Island Beach resort isn't worth the money. Being on Island I would of expected more amenties from the resort so guests don't have to drive at least 20 minutes to find eating and shopping. There is only one eatery on sight, BRGR has a very limited menu and is very costly. The resort offers no vending machines, they don't even offer continental breakfast like all the hotels offer. I expected more. Very disappointed.

I apologize that you were not happy with the amenities on the island and their proximity. Since we are located directly on the beach, there is not much yet rebuilt around us. Since the hurricane devastated the island, local businesses that used to be near us are trying to rebuild but it is a slow process with many not yet being able to rebuild due to the lack of available building supplies, contractors and funding. The island is slowly recovering but we do appreciate the visitors in this trying time.Instead of having vending machines, our market cafe, which serves breakfast and lunch does offer grab and go items including sandwiches, smoothies, salads and desserts and is open all day for snacks, candy, chips, beverages, etc. We also have our Breezer's pool bar which serves food daily from 11am to 7pm and our BRGR which offers lunch and dinner daily from 11am to 10pm. I hope that next time you are there, you will visit all 3 spots for dining!

I love that the property had a pool, bar, and beach access, which wasl easy to get to. It was a quieter atmosphere which my daughters and I enjoyed. We also appreciated the beach chairs when on the beach. They were nice to have.

The property was attractive and we loved the pool and tiki bar atmosphere. The beach just steps away is the best thing and the staffs attention to everything was obvious. We wiil be coming back.

This resort was perfect for my friend and me. We wanted to just be able to relax and have a peaceful vacation and that's exactly what we got. Great room, great pool w/fantastic Tikki bar and Milton our bartender. It is right on a beautiful peaceful beach with white sand and calm clear water.....serenity at it's best!

The only negative was being in room 102, which did not have parking rught at the room and you had to go around the whole complex to come or go by car.

Property is beautiful, however major repairs are going on next door due to hurricane, so not as relaxing as it could be by the pool with construction going on

Unfortunately, not everyone is as lucky as we are to be rebuilt after the devastation of the hurricane so there is still quite a bit of construction on the entire island. We do look forward to a time when everyone has recovered, and the island is back to its glory!

We had a family vacation with our kids and grandkids. Everyone had there own room and we had a suite. Our suite was beautiful and spacious. It was big enough for our family to enjoy. beautiful pool and beach!!! Just bring bug spray for Dawn and Dusk.

Basically a motel with room overlooking the parking lot (at $325/night). Given a room with no electricity on one side for lamps and clock. Took >24 hours to resolve. Room A/C very noisy. Beach beds but no umbrellas. Sanibel not ready for vacationers-most restaurants still closed.

Guys on the beach picked up chears too fast ( around 6) and did not give you another one. That is ok, but if you were in a cheer- you can stay what ever you need! Nonsense..... ( and i offer them take and return cheers by my self)

I apologize that the chairs have to be brought in so early. Unfortunately, this time of year, we have to clear the beach due to the turtle nesting season. We have several on and very close to our property and have to protect their habitat and keep them safe. Furniture and people on the beach late in the day can be harmful to their nesting patterns.

Big bonus for the hotel for offering beach chairs, towels, and location. The beach is just beautiful beach. This is a very quiet, boutique hotel, a great place to relax, reset, and enjoy Mother Nature. If you are looking for fun or attractions, this place may not be satisfying for you. There is a very modern and new restaurant in the resort, but it doesn't offer too much variety in food choices. We enjoyed the grill kitchen near the pool; good food and nice service. Be prepared to have a car unless you don't mind walking long distances to the nearest restaurants. Alternatively, there is bike rental, although it may be too hot to enjoy biking. The worst thing: no-see-ums. These little creatures are annoying and leave terrible 'memories' on your body. Be equipped with bug spray or eucalyptus oil to protect yourself against them. Overall, we liked the resort and recommend it.

I apologize that the dresser and closet area did not have enough room for your things. Shelling does vary from season to season and with the storms and the tides. Some days are better than others, but it is always exciting for us to see what unusual and rare shells our guests are finding every day.

This property has been renovated after the hurricane and is all fresh and new. Nice decor and colors overall. The bed was very comfortable and the amenities were great. Pool and beach are very nice. I downgraded by a star for two reasons: the glass barn door to the bathroom and the “nightlight” that cannot be turned off and is way too bright. The combination of the two resulted in a poor nights sleep because we couldn’t get the room dark. I dislike glass bathroom doors anyway from a privacy standpoint. But looks nice.

When I arrived and staff assisted me to my room with my luggage, I was on a second floor room towards the front of the property with no elevator. This room I assume is one of the “old” rooms that had not been renovated. It was disgusting, with stains on the carpet and scratched up furniture. I expressed my dismay and the staff did change my room, to one of the updated rooms that faced the pool on the lower level. Once my room was switched I was happy! Staff was accommodating and kind. Beach access is right in front of the hotel with chairs for use. Pool is small but nice. Walls and floors are a bit thin, which was a little annoying but it’s manageable. Make sure to bring no see um spray- they are nasty at dusk. Overall was happy with my stay!

Great location with direct beach access. Rooms all remodeled and clean. Nice pool and Tiki bar with good poolside snacks. Still rebuilding but plenty of restaurants and stores open and happy to have customers. Shelling was very good during our visit. Found better shells at beach right at hotel than we did with private boat charter to local island. Cost of hotel on pricey side, $750 for two nights after taxes and fees but perfect for our short stay.
