"Amazing spot if you have a quick layover from Keflavik and are willing to rent a car. Less than 15 minutes by car to the airport but still very quiet. If you like golf, there's a course right next door. We loved exploring the light house area around Reykjanes peninsula (-5 mins away) "

"10 min drive to Blue Lagoon. Easy to find; convenient parking in front of your door. It was my first stay in a guesthouse with a shared bathroom, but there was no need to worry - there were there spotless units complete with showers for two rooms, so there was no issue. The kitchen was excellent, with the full-size fridge and all the amenities. The bed was comfortable, and the room well-ventilated and quiet. I would definitely stay there again!"

"We booked Bay View Apartments for our last night in Iceland to be close to the airport. It is indeed close, just 12 minutes away by car. What we didn’t realize was how absolutely gorgeous this rental would be. It was totally luxurious; every room was impeccable, totally comfortable, beautifully crafted, and the design was top notch. "The kitchen is marvelous! The upstairs is an A-frame room and there are stairs to the upstairs unit, and to the loft. This could be a positive for privacy, if you are young and agile. We slept on the hide-a-bed on the main floor and found it comfortable. Any communication difficulties were on my end, because we were traveling when the hostess tried to communicate with me."

"We loved our stay. We had almost everything we needed! The location is great and we seen the northern lights 3 out of our 6 nights. The owners let us check in a bit early and were so kind! The only downside was there is no washer. We packed extremely light because the listings said there was one. It was a bit inconvenient, but we managed. The owner was very apologetic ans even offered to do our laundry. Regardless, we loved staying here."

"Decor of the room is sleek, new design, no aircond, need to open up window for cold air to come in. The problems are in between walls no soundproof. I could hear my upstairs running jumping after 11pm. My next wall tv noise, other side wall talkg. At 1am +, i was awaken by noises chasing northern lights outside my windows."
