"It was relatively clean and the staff were friendly and pleasant, but the hotel's location was a bit tricky, making it hard for taxis to find. The room's power system was very confusing, and the glowing power controls and blue lights from the air conditioner kept me from sleeping well at night. Also, the loud shouting from outside late at night on the weekend was quite noisy."

"연식이 있어서 좀 낡긴했지만 공간이 넓고 항구뷰가 예뻤어요. 수압도 좋고, 냉장고, 마이크로웨이브 등 지내기가 수월했습니다. 직원분들도 친절하고, 도보로 해안도로로 바로 갈 수 있어 아침에 조깅하거나 산책하기도 좋았어요. 시설에 비해 가격도 좋아서 다음에 다시 통영을 방문하면 이곳에 묵을 것 같아요."

"We had a great stay here in the family room. Loved being right on the water with the views of ferries, fishing boats, etc. Although the boats can be a little loud when coming and going in the early hours, the room/location itself is pretty quiet. Staff were very nice and although they don't speak much English you can communicate easily using your phone's translation apps (like Papago). Cooking utensils in the room were very limited but we loved the free fresh ground espresso in the lobby and Tongyeong has many inexpensive and delicious food options. Overall, the hotel and room are somewhat aged and faded and the amenities are quite basic, but we didn't care: the bed was clean and comfortable and the location is unbeatable. For the price it was a great deal."
