"Marina Terrace (the restaurant) is beautiful for sunset and the couple running it, Kieran and Beth really make the place special. They are knowledgeable world travelers so we found kindred spirits. Kieran is an amazing chef who whipped up to die for risotto as good as we have had in Italy. They gave us great recommendations of where to go and what to do. This is an authentic local experience with few tourists. The town itself is very safe and close by there are some nice hikes and killer beaches...

! Great staff, will always help with requests. Restaurant is inexpensive. Cons: no wi-fi in rooms, only in restaurant. Signal not always strong. This may be true everywhere in Port Barton. Also, restaurant has extensive menu but is always out of many choices. No brewed coffee, only instant."

"All good, just troubles with check in - they let me wait until 2 pm saying that it is the time that the check in starts even though everywhere is written that it starts at 1 pm, very confusing and annoying to let you wait even though the room was already supposed to be ready!! No compensation for all the useless waiting kn the heat "

Kid friendly with a few activities to do.. power only available from 6pm til 9.30pm which does not bother me at all as i am there to unwind and play cards and swim all day......very very peaceful "

"Quick check in, only guest there. ( Low Season) Room small, comfortable bed took most of the area. No hot water from shower. Breakfast consisted of three small pieces of toast, butter and marmalade , one egg and very small pot of coffee, served same everyday . ( included in room rate) nice outdoor patio / garden area. Staff were helpful. Very short walk to the public
