A basic and comfortable hotel. The staff are all lovely, friendly and helpful. The location really cannot be beat for San Salvador. I was able to easily walk to meet friends.

Overall friendliness of all staff - service desk, kitchen, and cleaning. I really liked the breakfast. I made sure to not miss it every day I was there. Lastly, the A/C and the TV with The YouTube are amenities I cannot dispense with - they were a neat touch for when I came back to the hotel every night.

Hotel stay was overall good. Its in a popular area so you are close to many dining options as well as a mall and other places. We think the only down side is the parking. They have a small parking area but try their best to accommodate you. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Def would come back again!

It is a bit far from the center but there are many good restaurants and malls nearby. If you are okay with taking uber everywhere, which is super affordable, this is pretty legit option for the price

Staff was awesome, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent location. The only complaint i have is that is very noisy, this is definetely not a hotel where you will be able to take a nap during the day and at night some guest where very noisy slammming doors and talking loudly in the hallways.

Amazing staff- everyone is so warm and friendly. Wonderful hotel. The breakfast is delicious. I will be staying here again. The only thing was lack of parking around the hotel. Even so- I recommend staying here. Thank you!

I just need a place to crash that won’t be a headache to find for family, friends, and taxi drivers. The rates are reasonable. Customer service is pretty good. This is the second year in a row I’ve stayed here. I might reserve here again next time.

Location, good room, clean. I did have issues with internet and cable TV, but not enough to be a bother. I suggest the front desk to notify guest that if they park blocking another car, leave key or room number ( I did ) to move car. I was blocked for 2 hours and missed important appointment. Having said that, I would definitely stay with them again.

The first two categories of ratings (Cleanliness and Staff & Service) are, for me personally, the main priorities. This hotel ranks 5-star on these two criteria! The staff that serves breakfast were extremely friendly and hospitable. And the breakfasts were delicious. Also, the hotel was entirely clean: the cleaning staff were extremely diligent and careful. My hotel room’s infrastructure was pretty basic yet perfectly fine. On two of my five evenings there, I did hear some loud music for a couple of hours in the evening. But it ended by 10pm on each night, perhaps due to a local noise ordinance so I had no problem with it. Overall, I strongly recommend Hotel Villa Serena San Benito! (I do have a small suggestion for anyone who uses taxis: Be sure to distinguish between “San Benito” and “Escalon”. Once, a driver drove me to the wrong hotel. Luckily the two hotels are not far apart.)

4 stars overall because the Fridge was not working. The staff did offer to move me but I decided not to. The staff speaks zero English, but they have translator app ready which was really nice. The maids turn the A/C and open the window which lets all the bugs in and makes it hot, I did not like that. There was no water in the room when I arrived so I asked the front desk and they gave me a free water right away, very nice. Overall this was a good stay and I would recommend to anyone wanted to see San Benito, many good places to eat walking distance and 2 malls.
