"It was close to the ports"

"The staff were great. Very kind and accomodating. The rooms are about what I expected. Nothing fancy but a good place to lay your head. The only legitimate "complaint" I have (if you can call it that) is that the rooms are pretty bright at night. Bring an eye mask. I'm sure I'll stay there again."

"The peep hole in our door was missing, giving you a clear view into the room. The floor in the room was sticky in places and clearly had not been swept. A little over an hour before check out time we got on the elevator with a member of house keeping and was asked what room we were in and when we were “getting out”. I can forgive the coffee machine being broken at breakfast but the rest…100% avoidable"

"The room was clean the only bad thing room service never came by and cleaned the room. Had to keep going to the front desk for clean towels."

"The building has everything you need during your stay. Great for families w small children. When we stay here we always have a great time."

"The room was spacious and clean. My only complaints are about the bathroom. The toilet paper was very thin. They could get better quality and people wouldn’t use as much. Also the bathroom light automatically turn on the fan. Not great when you go at night and wake up your spouse. These are small grievances and overall this is a great place to stay while on The Island."

"Great location on Galveston seawall. Only bad points hot water is not very hot at all and no microwave in your room. Great pizza spot in front of room, but no way to reheat later unless you want to go to lobby every time. Other than that, a pretty good stay for the price."

"Pros: - clean rooms - fun/cute vibes - friendly and helpful staff - heated pool - food is great - comfy and clean bed - warm showers Cons: - so loud, can’t sleep, party vibes all the time but it’s yacht rock yuppie party vibes, also - super bright lights by the pool all night, and curtain does not block out all of the light from outside so, also can’t sleep because of that - the lighting in the rooms is anything but pleasant and cozy. I get that they are trying to be mid century style, but...

"The room was musty…. And the room I got was with two queen beds and NOT the king bed I requested. The icebox did not work and the restroom had a strobe light. The floors appeared clean but when wiping up water with the towel it was nasty. They apparently don’t get mopped. The elevators are S L O W. and the waiting room for elevators was suffocatingly hot… been going here 3 years and nothing has improved. Haven’t been in a year and doesn’t appear any improvements have been done…. They were...
