The location is beautiful and it is very close to Coronado and beaches and shopping. The views are amazing and being so close to the future Veritas Village will make it the place to stay!
Communication from the owner was excellent. The staff was amazing and patient with our lack of Spanish. The food was delicious and made dining stress free for my wife and me. The grounds and pool were also quite nice. If “bang for your buck” is a priority, I recommend La Maracuya. It’s a little remote, but we wanted some quiet time, and the location didn’t prevent us from exploring. We visited the pacific beaches and El Valle de Anton via rental car. Thanks for caring for us during our stay!
We were the only ones there (it's a small place with only 3 cabanas), and it was absolutely perfect. We found it on a whim after bailing on our other accommodations, as the town where we were was unbearably hot. When we drove up into the hills using the excellent directions they sent, we arrived to a cool breeze, a pool all to ourselves, very friendly service, and a spectacular view. Our only regret is that we didn't stay there in the first place! It's truly a hidden gem!
The room perfectly fit the atmosphere. Beautiful mountain view, outdoor shower, and very large relaxation tub in the room. Swimming pool. The garden area is tropical and metriculous. Meals were offered for a price. The food was ok . The staff are very courteous, friendly and accommodating. A staff member was even so kind to drive me to the bus stop. Be aware that they only speak Spanish.
This is a quirky little place that I mistakenly thought would be closer to valle Anton. The three ladies who make up the staff are lovely, no English though but I got by with my limited Spanish. Had a dinner and a breakfast made by them, local flavor, but fine. Pool is small but clean and refreshing. It’s on top of a mountain ridge so nice view of the drought landscape below. It gets strong winds, good for cooling off. WiFi could be stronger. Room was good, had a soaking tub and private outdoor shower
Warning about google maps-it recommended a shorter route from Anton but it included a rutted roller coaster of a dirt road that burros would take a look at and say “nah, I’m good”
