My stay started off okay, but there were issues that quickly made it unacceptable. The room itself felt too small, and there was a strange smell, as if it hadn’t been properly cleaned. By the second night, I noticed bites on my back, which I later confirmed were from bedbugs.
When I brought this to the hotel’s attention, the response was disappointing. The first staff member told me nothing could be done and asked me to come back later. Another employee said they would speak to a manager and follow up, but there was no urgency or real concern. I was eventually moved to a different room, but when I asked if it had been properly inspected for bedbugs, I was met with a rude and condescending attitude, as if I didn’t understand what I was asking.
The customer service throughout this experience was poor. No one was apologetic, no one offered assistance (not even with luggage), and it felt like the situation was being brushed off instead of handled seriously. To make matters worse, during checkout, an employee asked how my stay was with a smirk, which came across as unprofessional and dismissive.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, especially considering how much we paid. I would not recommend staying here unless you’re willing to risk dealing with bedbugs and unprofessional staff.
