What a great place expect the beds

Very nice hotel with the best service. Great welcome and great staff overall. Very relaxing place. Only bad thing the beds are way too soft for me, you almost lay on the floor.

Huge room. Great staff and amazingly clean and well maintained. Some features of the room are a little dated but this will not spoil your stay at this hotel. The food is also generous and well thought out. A great place to stay!

Great property, which has been newly refurbished. Rooms are nice and big with a nice balcony. My only comment would be regarding furniture quality in rooms are a little worn. Pool area outstanding one of the nicest I’ve been to.

We found the hotel to be comfortable, clean and spacious with helpful staff and very good buffet-style meals. We also appreciated the nice pool areas and an on-site shop. Evening entertainment was an unexpected bonus but aimed, I think, at the older generation. At about 30 minutes, the walking distance to the beach is further than many hotels but the taxi fare is 5 euros and we had no problem in getting one. There are also bus stops not far away and the Yumbo shopping centre less than 15 minutes walk away. We would go to this hotel again!

It was a pleasant stay. Very nice hotel with perfect breackfast, huge choice, you can find everything you want to eat, even nuts and seeds, many vegetables and fruits! The room was big and comfortable, and there were great fitness options available, including Tabata, yoga, aqua fitness, and cross training. The staff were very friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised that breakfast was organized for us at 6 AM on our departure day. Thank you so much! One downside: at night, there was noise from the pool due to the running water, which made it difficult to sleep well with the balcony door open.

Property overall was good. Facilities good. No rush for sunbeds, gym was good. Check-in wasn’t the best. Staff were not very helpful. Despite check-in time stating 1200 they wouldn’t let us check in until 1400. Did not offer us glass of cava that we seen other guests getting. Didn’t tell us where we could get changed or offer us pool towels. Reception staff not the most approachable and seem uninterested. Other staff within hotel excellent. No pool bar.

One of the best hotels at that price range

I have stopped at many hotels in Playa del Ingles and this was one of my favourites. The breakfast in the morning is lovely and has proper English Breakfast ingredients such as English sausages and bacon. The pools were warm and beautiful. The atmosphere in the hotel is so relaxed and the staff seem genuinely kind. There were so many nice touches such as free cava when you arrive and then a free bottle of wine and water in the room. I especially liked people coming round at breakfast reminding us if we want extra food before they close the breakfast Such a nice and kind touch. From what I remember, they left the food after quite a while afte the official close. I like a hotel that is not all about the rules. You really get the impression that they care about the customer service and I definitely will go back. The only minus side I can think of is that the rooms are slightly dated but that is so minor, I didn't know whether to even mention it. Great hotel and good location too.

Bad Experience Night 1 of 6

First night of a 6 night stay was not good. The rest of the stay was okay. I checked in around 9pm on the first night. I asked about the fitness center / gym onsite, but was told there was no fitness center / gym onsite. Even though I mentioned that was part of the reservation. I ended up purchasing a 40 euroweek membership elsewhere, then found out there was indeed a fitness center / gym onsite. I left for dinner, then came back to my hotel around midnight hoping to come back to a cool room. To my surprise, my air conditioning was not working. I also noticed the shower floor was peeling and the shower drain was not draining. The offered a table fan as a solution. The overnight manager and security guard both agreed the air conditioning was not working. From the hours of about 1:45 AM to 7AM, I was in my room. Restless due to the hot room. They compensated with a dinner. Upon checking in, I was welcomed with a glass of champagne / prosecco. Nice gesture, however, the couches in the lobby area were dirty / stained. Please note its cancellation policy. They will not compensate you or for these inconveniences. And please note its location. I didn’t always feel safe walking to / from the hotel at night. I made it a point to one of the security guards as I was definitely being followed back to the hotel at night. Hopefully my experience was just an unfortunate matter. I have a really high tolerance for inconveniences, but not when the hotel can do more. Never again!
