Perfect Stay in Salzburg!

Great hotel! The staff were so kind, special thanks to Anna. It was also my birthday during my stay, and they'd left me a note and a little bag of candy! Very cute! Reception also lets you rent out umbrellas - very handy! Really good location too, right on the river, and 10-15 mins walk from Old Town. Would recommend! :)

Great and affordable

Great place to stay and a good location. Accommodation was plain and simple but clean and I had everything I needed. Little freebies like fresh orange juice and coffee pods and lots of apples were a lovely touch!

Excellent WiFi and surprisingly quiet

Good value. Excellent WiFi. The Room had some kitchen appliances but you would need your own utensils. Excellent location by the river and easy access to the old town. The location by the train lines was surprisingly quiet.

I was expecting much less than what we actually found - clean room with everything we needed to comfortably rest after a day filled with activities. Very impressed with their attention to small details that make a difference, like fresh apples at the reception and juice and mineral water in the room.

Updated hotel experience for today's world

Clean and organized and had all the amenities I actually need for the kind of travel I do. Not your standard hotel, which has a lot of fluff you don't need. Having access to a kitchen and doing your own laundry made it perfect. Very kind staff. Nice to see families and young people comfortable.

The hotel is advertised as a hostel although all our rooms were en-suite. Everything was fine - it isn't 5 star but you're not paying 5 star prices. Clean, friendly staff, easy walk into Salzburg centre, quiet area with a Spar not far away.

Hotel is pretty old, but the room is spacious. It had everything that I needed except for an iron that is available in the common area in the basement. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful. They provide complimentary water and juice in the fridge for free. The walk along the river to the old town was amazing. The hotel could use some renovation, but room was clean and bed was surprisingly comfortable. They do have a fan in the room which helps with the warm temperature.

The hotel is located about a 10 min walk from the old town which is fantastic. The staff were all very helpful, the down side was the rooms were slightly dirty. You could see grime along the radiator and on the floors. There also is no AC which in the summer makes the rooms uncomfortably hot even with the provided fan. Overall I would return but only in the fall/winter.

The hotel is nice, except that walls are very thin. So you hear everything when people next door speak. Also it's kinda far from the city center if you want to walk.

We liked everything about the property especially the location right on the river and an easy walk to Salzburg's main attractions. Felix, our receptionist, was an excellent host. Our check-in was fast and he gave us directions, information, and got us a taxi right away. We appreciated all he did for us! The only we didn't like was the bed arrangement. The bed was in a wood frame and located in a corner against the wall. The mattress was comfortable and fine for a single person, but for a couple the person against the wall had to climb over the other person if they needed to get out of bed.

The bed frame was so uncomfortable you feel the wood frame poking you if you try to sit on the bed or as you get in and out, I ended up with a cluster of bruises on my leg from getting in and out of bed. This was in a private room in a normal double or queen bed. The location is quite isolated in terms of shops or places to eat or get coffee, which is tough given that there is no breakfast option. There is a communal kitchen but there aren’t any stores nearby
