Mixed. Don’t use the restaurant in site.

Good front desk, decent room Though the TV reception was awful and they needed to fix the safe. Great pool and nice communal areas. Downsides were awful service and food in the restaurant in the evening and lack of places to eat during the day as everything was closed

Struggles with Hotel Roulette

The hotel roulette failed to send us an email. Make sure that you call midweek as the offices aren't open on the weekend. The online check-in link didn't work but copying it into Google did somehow reveal my hotel. The room's inside look a little dated but well appointed with good amenities. Bathrooms good balcony was large and overlook at the pool could have done with furniture on the balcony. We Hotel El Paso which doesn't have direct park entrance but getting to explore the other Hotels was fun.

We booked a room advertised on hotels.com as having 4 x single beds. When we checked in we just had 2 x small double beds, which wasn’t ideal with 2 teenage children. The hotel said that they don’t offer this room configuration, so I don’t know if the problem was with hotels.com or the hotel. Pool was nice

The process of the roulette is always messy, I never receive the name of the hotel the day before as it’s supposed to be and when it’s during a weekend nobody is there to pick the phone. The caraibe hotel was the one we’ve got and it is not the best for sure. Decoration in the room is super cheap and a bit awkward. No direct access to the parks

not the best...

We stayed in hotel Gold River. We found it to be not the best value. The room was very noisy, there is no fitness room in the hotel, the playground is closed. the walk to the park is very long, especially with small children. we didn't enjoy the room- the sink had blockage, the cleaning was only everyday after we called and asked why they didn't came.

Never sent which hotel to go to. Very panicky on day. The rooms were lovely but staff could be friendlier. On the Saturday morning the pool and breakfast bar were closed. No one bothered to inform the guest. Then at 10.45am when we were collecting our belongings from the room the cleaner decided to tell us to leave and unlocked my childrens riom with her master keycard. She had no right to enter univited. I told her we had until 11am and she agreed so why enter peoples rooms. Very unprovessional.

Really lovely stay , pleasant and fun , food and beverage offer good. Not sure I agree with paying to use the left luggage room. Single use plastic and paper plates / single use table cloths absolutely criminal throughout the hotel and parks.

“Roulette” does not work

Booked the roulette, no one could tell me what hotel I was assigned, which meant having to ask the taxi driver to drive around when I landed. Hotel El Paso in the end, the corridors were noisy, they piped music in which was annoying. Wouldn’t stay here again.

I had high hopes for this place, but there is no way it is a 4 star. Very dated. Our shower was falling apart and the pool was clearly dirty with murky water. The food seemed low quality with watered down juice at breakfast and it is generally very overcrowded. There is also a queue for absolutely everything. Not great. I definitely would not go back.

Rating Portaventura hotel: ok but not 4 stars!!

Hotel Portaventura hotel was designated during the roulette. It’s a ok hotel but the equipments and services are not at the level of a 4 stars: swimming pool very small with no equipment, jacuzzi out of order with a very dirty water in No amenities available at the front desk, must buy anything at the shop and when it’s closed… too bad for you, no solution! Definitely not ok for a 4 stars! Refurbishment done in 2019 but not roba my not maintained since then on many areas

Very disappointing stay

Our stay at hotel El Paso at PortAventura was very disappointing. We've been in the hotel a few years ago and I can honestly say that the hotel has gone downhill in many aspects, We will not come back. 1. Food- We've booked half board. but found out they limit your time in the restaurant to 40 minutes. After 30 minutes they start yelling in the restaurant "10 more minutes to go", and after 40 minutes- everybody needs to leave. This is unacceptable after you pay the high price for their meals. We had two little girls and to try to feed them and eat yourself in 40 minutes, which includes choosing food from the buffet, waiting in line for the buffet- is just not possible. Moreover, the food was not good. very repetitive, small selection, not healthy and not what we expected. 2. The room was dated and not suitable for the 4 people we booked. They gave us two double beds. This was not convenient for 2 little girls. We tried to switch rooms and although the hotel was not full- we weren't allowed to do so. 3. The big perk of staying at the hotel in the past was the express pass you could buy for a discounted price for the whole stay. they cancelled it and now you get a very small discount and it's daily, we couldn't buy it for the price they demanded. 4. There is no entertainment in the hotel. The only thing they do is a mini disco for the kids which is nice. but not enough. The parks close early and there is nothing to do after or before the mini disco. such a shame because th

Hôtel très bien placé et avec des prestations excellentes, prendre en pention complète pour éviter toute frustration. Seul point négatif, le personnel n'est pas assez ferme avec les clients qui font preuve d'incivilités comme par exemple du gaspillage de nourriture ou bien des mégots dans le sable autour de la piscine... C'est dommage...

Wir bekamen beim Roulette das El Paso. Schönes Familienhotel, sehr sauber, das Frühstücksbuffet war ok, wie man es in einem Freizeitpark eben erwartet. Der Pool war riesig und man gelangt in ca 5-8 Minuten mit Kindern zu Fuß in den Park. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen sicher wieder.
