PortAventura Hotel Colorado - Includes unlimited access to PortAventura Park & 1 day access to Ferrari Land
10/10 Excellent
"I cannot recommend this property enough! We are a family of four, two adults and two children of 15 and 12. The hotel is beautiful, set close enough to the parks to walk in casually but far enough away that the hustle and bustle feels like a million miles away. We couldn't hear the firework shows or theme park at all.
Every staff member is incredibly helpful, all of which I encounterd speaking very good english. They booked taxi's for us and helped with every little request. The lobby can be very busy at check-in times. On the taxi's front, I would note that no taxi's can possibly access the hotel between 9:30-11am due to the park opening and the roads being grid-locked, so factor that into booking flights home.
There's a pool on site that is 1.2 meters at it's deepest point, perfect for lounging and being relaxed. You can also use the pools at the neighbouring hotels to give a range to try.
The room was clean, filled with all the amenties we needed and the air conditioning was a blessing! Everytime we stepped into the room, we all sighed with relief (we visited in August in 36 degree heat). Room cleaning came everyday if we didn't put the 'do not disturb' sign out.
Food is a morning and evening buffet, with lunch vouchers for inside the parks (no lunch at the hotel). There's a huge range of foods, something for everyone. Our 12 yo is autistic and very fussy, but had platefuls every night. I would 100% encourage you to choose this hotel for a fun-filled holiday!"
"Hemos estado a gusto.Un problemas comedores saturados, grandes colas para poder comer.La animación de la noche bastante mejorable.Pero por lo demás muy a gusto

"Definitely get the sea view room. Location is everything with this place. We went for the eclipse and as an older couple we enjoyed a relaxing day at the pool. It was not the kind of place we normally go. It is perfect for families and it was nice to see people having fun without screens. The staff was helpful but not intrusive. Appreciated that they were on top of keeping the floors dry with everyone dripping water. The place is a bit dated but it had a charm to it. The pool is the main feature and it was kind of nice that they close it early so you can enjoy the peaceful sea views in the evening. Elevators were a complaint for some but we were on the 3rd floor and didnt mind walking down. The other issue is the parking but we totally lucked out getting there early to get a spot near the hotel. We just kept up on paying the meter every 4 hours until the evening when parking was free."
"The hotel itself was ideally located and impecably maintained by staff.
I do however have 3 complaints. According to my booking a complimentary bottle of wine was to be provided upon check in. The bottle was eventully brought to the room on day 3 of 4, after i mentioned it. The bottle had a cork, no corkscrew provided. ew complaints the biggest of which was that when I asked to speak with the manager regarding my concern that in the expedia property listing it states that umbrella and chairs under beach ammenities only to find out that they cost $20 euros a day to rent. Why would these not be listed as extra fee items versus ammen. Inoncern I was told by several staff that they would be in later in the day only to find out on my 4th visit that they were not scheduled to work that day and would not be in....why not tell me that in the first place. I did leave my name and number and was never contacted."

8/10 Good
"Straightforward check in
Straight to room on the 3rd floor
Choice of 2 lifts
Room clean and tidy
2 large beds
Balcony overlooking pool
Lovely bathroom
Fridge
Safe(didn’t use)
Didn’t use hotels breakfast and bar as was out majority of days we visited
Our last night(Saturday) we visited the rooftop bar and was extremely busy but with a good atmosphere
We would deffo recommend hotel for a short stay
Is a good 5-10 minute walk into town however we didn’t mind that"
"Fabulous hotel nearer to the old town .
Good points …
Air conditioning in the room
Cleanliness standards 10/10
Rooftop swimming pool
Points to be aware of …
Wi-Fi abit hit and miss
The spa prices are extortionate! 55 euros for 60 mins ! If they been longer or cheaper I would have tried it .
The hot breakfast selection was not good."
"It would have been perfect if staff at the reception were trying harder to look friendly and helpful. Any questions about transport to the airport, theme park, attractions in the area..etc - the answer was " we don't provide this information". Also accepting deposit only in cash with cashmachine in hotel charging you a huge rate for withdrawing cash looks like more like scam rather than 4* hotel service.
Everything else was perfect ."
