That said, the staff was super friendly, and the stay actually exceeded my expectations. Some of the other negative comments are honestly misleading. "This is 100% the best hotel hands down for families! It is located near target, Starbucks and many other places. It’s not a long drive to the aquarium and Carmel! And we enjoyed that the staff was absolutely wonderful. They were so incredibly nice and made everything so easy! We had two children with us and we got the suite king (standard) and it had a sofa bed that is actually very comfortable! My 300+ 6’5 husband slept on it and had no trouble, they also provided extra blankets in the tv...

"Overall was ok, my daughter enjoy the indoor pool. Staff could be more friendly and welcoming to anyone that pay to stay there. When checking in the customer before us got more attention since it was a regular base with the conversation I heard, when it was my time to check in I wasn’t ask about rewards program or anything like that. Receptionist was not welcoming and it seems she only was more friendly with some customers. We usually stay somewhere else but this time I decide to give it a try...
