"We stayed at The Sweet Lake Resort for two weeks at the beginning of November 2025 and had a wonderful experience.
• Location: The resort is set back from a quiet road in Arambol, so there was no street noise. Arambol beach is just a 3‑minute walk through the back gate—though note the route carefully, as signage is limited and we got lost the first time.
• Rooms: Spacious, clean, and airy, with huge comfortable beds, air conditioning, and ceiling fans in both the main room and shower room. Our...

"A rundown hotel without even a TV, bathroom fittings have not been cleaned properly for a long time. The same can b said of the pool, never saw anyone swimming during my 4 days stay.
The hotel is still called Shree Rajeshwari Resort, but it was taken over by Golden Horizon Resort and is functioning with some kind of power of attorney.
It has almost no sea view, My room was on the top 3rd floor, there is practically no restaurant. I chose this hotel because Hotels.com search mentioned ”breakfast...

"We was booked in for 14 nights however only stayed for 2 .The location was good, the room and pool was clean and tidy.
Food at restaurant and good.
The major problem we had was than the reception would only take cash.
We had to get a taxi to take us to several atms to obtain enough cash for two nights.
As we would of had the do this for the next fortnight we decided to find a different hotel.
We wasted the first 3 days of our holiday because of this.
There was not indication that the hotel only...

"I have stayed previously too at Le Meridian with friends and this time I got a chance to stay with family. The courteous staff and hospitality you get at Le Meridian is unmatched. The reception staff , pool staff and those in dining areas are prompt, warm and helpful .
The breakfast buffet is grand although the non vegetarian opens have reduced and are not in display and you get them on request. That was a change.
Since lot of families with children are residing at the hotel one should be ready to put up with the noise from playing toddlers and children. I didn’t t mind that for one.
It is well connected and 5-7 minutes ago sell to Candolim beach. The swimming pool is clean and high point of the hotel.
Will definitely stay again …."
"We had a wonderful stay at Taj Fort Aguada, Goa and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Goa.
The hospitality and service throughout our stay were exceptional. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make our experience memorable.
The breakfast spread was outstanding, with an impressive variety of both Indian and continental options, ensuring there was something for everyone. We also thoroughly enjoyed dining at the Italian and Thai restaurants, both of which offered delicious food and excellent service.
One of the highlights of the property is the beautiful Banyan Tree restaurant. The lush greenery and serene atmosphere make it a truly special place to dine and relax.
Overall, Taj Fort Aguada combines stunning surroundings, excellent dining options, and world-class hospitality. We had a fantastic experience."
"It is a good property and good value for money. Loved the cottage and the sit-out attached to it. Food at Bonita, Chutney and Mama Miso was all good. Also liked the services at the spa."
"We loved our stay at Alila Diwa and would absolutely recommend it. We stayed outside of peak season which meant we were able to upgrade to Diwa club for a really reasonable price and I'd recommend doing the same, if you're able to; the rooms are spacious and bathrooms actually feel separate to the main bedroom/living area, plus you get access to the sundowners at Bistro.
Our stay at Alila Diwa rounded off a 3 week trip around India and so we were ready for some sun lounger time, early nights and had already had two weeks of delicious North and West Indian cuisine. If that wasn't the case, I think we'd have been a little more disappointed in the food options at the hotel, particularly as there are limited walkable options nearby (GoaMiles doesn't operate in the areas so for taxis, you're reliant on organising via the hotel/a driver). The restaurants are nice but not as delicious as some of the cheaper, local places we visited in north Goa, before arriving.
We also visited the spa for a massage. The service was really easy to organise and incredibly well priced for a 5* hotel. And it was quite literally the best massage of my life.
If you want a beautiful hotel, time to rest and hospitality staff who are equal parts charming, equal parts utterly wonderful - then Alila Diwa is 10/10."
