We did not realise the season didn’t start till 1st June so was very limited on meals and no pool. Was a bus ride from the town and we only found one restaurant open locally. Hotel was clean and comfortable.

We used this hotel as a hub to stay and travel the areas around it. It was a nice hotel and served the purpose we needed. The room was nicely decorated with modern look and service was good.

Far from town center. Taxis are limited to Radio Taxi Salerno and cost $20-25 one way into town. Breakfast has runny eggs, over ripe melon, and very limited fresh foods compared to other hotels we stayed in Italy. Hotel rooms need deep cleaning of dust, fingerprints on windows, etc. Staff are helpful. Use the grocery store nearby for food. Ok if you have a car as transportation is limited and bus stops at 930pm.

Hotel was great , it is just far from the city center , but there is a metro station very close to the hotel that will take you to Salerno Central station in around 18 min

We were using public transportation, so it's easy to get from the train station to the hotel using the metro. Then, you can walk to a nice little mall, a great trattoria and pizzeria, and the salernitana stadium.

This property is terrific. I saw some negative reviews and can’t believe that they were talking about the same property. Room was excellent and clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking was the most convenient that we encountered during our entire trip in Italy.

I was not informed about inserting the key card in a special socket in order to activate the lights in the room. In order to use the elevator you needed to insert the key and was not very easy to use or responsive. Breakfast was included and it was good. I will stay again.

Hotel with lots of noise - not for me

I asked for a hotel room that is quiet, high up and specifically asked for a room not over the restaurant. Despite the specific request they still decided to give me the room on the first floor straight over the restaurant with constant noise from chairs and tables being moved around. The room doors slam shut and can be heard for all rooms around you. The hotel is not quiet and does not have sound proof rooms. Noisy! I was also told the other rooms had even more noise from some gate. The bedsheets kept coming off (too small for the bed) and crumpled up. The bathroom was completely soaked after a shower. The pool was closed even though it was full of water. Kids very disappointed. Breakfast was not particularly good and very limited dining menu, albeit reasonably priced. The area around the hotel is strange and the restaurants that appear on Google maps etc are boarded up. On the positive, rooms were good size, easy to drive to hotel and ample parking. Would I return? No certainly not.
