Liked: Staff & service
Amenities can be improved but the staff are amazing- shout out to Hugo, Ioandy, the front desk and the restaurant staff who went beyond and above to make it a memorable vacation. I will definitely stay next time and recommend to others
Staff was nice and welcoming, always an activity in the hotel by animation team, everything in a close walking distance, super clean hotel, very close to the beach.
This hotel was nothing i was expecting from the photos. The photos on the website and what you get at the hotel was absolutely two diferente thing. The hotel looks likes its been in service for 50 plus year but never received regular maintenance. You pay for all inclusive but you only receive breakfast and lunch. If u need water you will have to pay for it and once again supposedly it’s all inclusive. Food is the same thing everyday it is not worth paying for it. Its better you just go down the street and eat as you will get better food and better option. THE WORST PART OF THIS HOTEL is they will only change your towels after you have completed 3 nights stay. It does not matter how dirty the towel is if u want it to be changed you have to pay 5 euro for each towel. The rooms are very old the air conditioner is only in the living and not in the bedrooms so we had to sleep with the door open .Who ever is the owner of this hotel needs to come back to the hotel and fix a lot of things. You are better going to a real all inclusive in Sal to be able to enjoy your stay. Wouldnt recommend to my worst enemy.

Anbefaler hotellet.
The staff make this hotel brilliant! They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time there. Thank you to the amazing ents team who are always filled with good energy! Natty, Jess, Elly, Evans & Fraco - keep up the great work! Also the lovely Atillio, Hugo & Elaine on the bar. The restaurant staff &chefs, security/reception & Danny at the spa - thank you all. We booked 2 excursions through the hotel and Parissa did a great job ensuring we had the best time. I'd recommend the catamaran & you can't miss the full day island tour with Scooby - it was by far the highlight. What a memorable day!
The food was great, lots of options for breakfast and lunch and we eat fresh fish daily. Defo worth going 'all-in'. Unlike some hotels I've stayed at who have a bad habit of catering to what they consider will please the British palettes & serving pretty bland food, Halos (being an Italian hotel with CV chef) provided flavourful food. We had local foods (inc hard foods e.g sweet potato & cassava) on their Cape Verdean night. Evening entertainment at the bar was varied & good fun.The beach is a couple of mins walk with plenty of loungers/shade & the bar nearby. We preferred the beach as the hotel pool was icy! I believe this was fixed before we left as it did feel much warmer so we got in & had a nice swim.
The hotel is conveniently located about 5 mins walk into town.
Message to the hotel owner: please purchase some new pillows for the guests to have a good nights sleep.
Lovely place really enjoyed the stay . Customer service was extremely nice and staff there are fabulous.Definitely coming Back and would recommend this hotel . Fab
Loved the location of the hotel. 5 mins to amazing beach and lovely private beach area with loads of sun loungers, but also a short walk from town. Rooms worked well for us as a family, with a twin and a double with a lounge/ kitchen. Pool very cold which was disappointing. Good choice of food with lovely salads. Hotel was very multinational, staff were incredibly inclusive and able to speak about 4 languages. We took a few days to realise that there was a beach bar which was also all inclusive as the information wasn’t clear about that.
The hotel was shabby, and service was terrible apart from two people. The all-in was very poor and because the service was so bad it took ages to get anything covered by the all-in (which was not much). It was run like a 18 to 30's holiday, which was ok when I was in that window of age, but I expected better.

Perushotelli
Perushotelli, jossa ei ole mitään ylimääräistä luksusta. Hotellialueella uima-allas, ja yksi ruokaravintola ( samassa tilassa aamupala) ja pieni kauneushoitola.
I've recently returned from a solo week trip. When I arrived I was warmly greated by the reception staff, booked in and shown to my room. I stayed in a one bedroom apartment on the 1st floor. The room was spacious and clean, there was facilities to use if you wanted to cook meals, however I had booked all inclusive so didn’t need to, the kitchen also had a fridge freezer which came in handy. There was plenty of sun loungers available around the pool area, the beach was a short walk away and again they had plenty of chair with cover available. The was always a good selection of foods available at meal times. Breakfast offered both cooked item, with eggs cooked to order available, cereal, pastries, fruit and a selection of breads. Lunch and dinner always had a selection of salad items, bread, meat, fish and vegetarian options. I always found something to have, I didn’t try any of the desserts so can't comment on them. All the staff were courteous and welcoming, you often saw the owner throughout the day and he always made the effect to greet everyone. The only thing I can suggest is ensure you have an iron as there wasn't one available during my stay, the manager did offer to send my items off to the laundry, however I didn’t take him up on this offer as I had enough other options to wear, but was thankful for the offer. I would definitely recommend Halos Casa Resort, it was a good location for the short walk to shops, and nightlife also.
The hotel is very clean and the location is fantastic.
The staff didn't speak english very well (some didn't speak at all) but were able to provide basic help. The entertainment was in Italian. The entertainment team and shows were quite fun, lots of activities offered through the day.
The bar choice was very poor. Breakfast was very basic but lunch and dinners were quite good.
