My wife and I were looking for a base to stay for 11 days in the Perigord / North Dordogne to allow us to explore the area and found this fantastic "petit chateau" on the outskirts of Thiviers. "Very comfortable and friendly family-run hotel, surprisingly quiet given its location. The rooms were clean and well equipped. It has an excellent restaurant, with mainly organic and / or locally sourced produce.
