The property itself is absolutely stunning, incredibly peaceful, and decorated with immense taste. We loved the numerous pieces of artwork beautifully displayed throughout our room, the common areas, and even outside in the gardens! "This is a guest house rather than a standard hotel, although it has standard amenities. Situated in the countryside near Chenonceau castle, the property is located in a former mill house bordering the Cher river, which some rooms overlook. The house is surrounded by a large garden, with a swimming pool, pétanque court, ping pong and access to paths along the riverside. The staff is welcoming, informed, and extremely helpful, especially with advice about restaurants and activities in the area....

"The owners, Gaelle and Bruno, are grand hosts and are charming. This visit was our second, and if we return to Amboise, we will stay there again. The rooms in the manor house are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast is a must. Our hosts provided recommendations for dinner that were not tourist oriented, and helped us schedule a taxi to the railway station."
