The owners were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They even offered a wine tasting featuring wines produced right on the property, which was a wonderful experience. Breakfast was generous, with plenty of delicious options to start the day. "What a great place to stay in St Emilion. The hotel is towards the bottom of the old town ideally located for exploring. Our room was perfect and had everything we needed, including an iron. We really appreciated the gorgeous bath towels - full size, not the usual small French ones! The breakfast is probably the best one we’ve ever experienced in France with a choice of hot items cooked to order. We also really enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting at the shop next door, with a knowledgeable host (who we’d met in Le 7 wine bar the day before). Definitely recommend and will stay agai. Whe. Back in the area."
