"Many local folks and tourists seem to come to this hotel for dinner. I recommend it for dinner too, excellent food. The location is right on the beach. The only inconvenience is access to certain rooms, which has to be through the restaurant, which is really weird, especially when I had to take my dog out and had to squeeze between the tables. Recommended otherwise. "

"Loved the history of being a former school. Rooms were clean and large. Adequately stocked with towels, soap and coffee. Push button hair dryer (had to hold button down). "This is a very comfortable and very clean hotel with nice hosts. However, it is an older building with limited access to plugs to use to charge your phone or other devices. We had just one plug available in our room, and this was in the bathroom. My husband and I had to stagger our charging to keep our devices useful. "The hotel itself is value for money. Finding the kettle and coffee maker in the room was a plus. The outside space is a lovely sun trap in the evening. We stayed in early June and the area was generally quiet. The hotel was hosting a school trip, which not an issue for us. We were only there for 2 nights, Mon/Tues, which did mean having to drive the 2 miles to Arramanche to find somewhere to eat, as none of the local venues were open on those evenings. I presume this changes once the season...
