Hôtel Ithurria

10/10 Excellent

"It is an older hotel that has maintained its rustic charm with some modern updates. We had the family room which was so great for the three of us. Breakfast was great with the best gateau basque and also great jams breads and scrambled eggs. The dinner way exceeded our expectations. We let them know ahead of time that our daughter is vegan and they prepared special dishes for her."

On the morning I left (early)!to hike up La Rhune (the highest hill in the Pyrenees) a mere 10miles away & near the Spanish border. An amazing experience and the hotel was very well located for both these hikes…"
