"First of all it should be pointed out that the flat is in a senior citizens home. Slightly strange but unless you keep very strange hours then it's not a problem. The building is quiet and the parking is covered by CCTV. I|t's close to one of the major roads out of the city so if you have a car it's not a problem. Apartment is lovely and airy (no aircon). "Our stay at Hotel Grand Francais was fantastic. One of the most underrated elements was that there was an amazing cocktail bar associated with the Hotel that was standout. The location felt very secure, was convenient to a ton of restaurants. The room was very clean and service was great. The breakfast spread was also delicious. Cafes and restaurants seemed to open quite late, so would recommend taking advantage of the breakfast. Would absolutely stay again when in Bordeaux!"

"The room was very clean and modern. The bathroom was fine any the shower was really good. The kitchen area was well equipped but small, and the sink was tiny. So even though we ate only breakfast in the room, it still felt cramped. The bed was comfortable BUT people should be aware that the bed is placed in a corner of the room, which is fine for one person but awkward for a second. The wardrobe is too small for hangers to be used normally, they have to hang at an angle if the door is to be shut. The AC is efficient however the bathroom extractor fan is a little noisy and runs 24/7. "

"This is a perfectly located hotel, within easy walking to the city. The tram stop is practically outside the hotel door with direct tram to the airport. The main train station is also a 5 minute walk. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean with friendly staff. Breakfast was good as continental ones go with the option of boiling yourself some eggs too. The only downside is that the rooms are tiny. It says this on the web site. If you are someone who needs a lot of room where you can walk around then this is not for you. We, on a city break are always out and about so it was perfect for us. Very comfy bed, clean towels daily and a hairdryer. I also borrowed an iron from reception. Few hooks, shelves and hangers for personal stuff. To sum up perfect location, clean very quiet despite being close to tram. Helpful staff and you can buy a drink 24 hrs a day."
