The hotel and spa are beautiful. The building itself is amazing! It's surroundings of trees, trails, lakes and beach are perfect. To enjoy your stay to the fullest, make sure to have proper clothing/shoes for all weather conditions. A boutique is not available.
On-site restaurant provides a variety of items for lunch and dinner. Breakfast buffet offers hot and cold selections. Delicious and super friendly staff.
Beautiful location with one of the more stunning views for al fresco dining you'll ever experience. Restaurant does a great job. Staff is friendly. Rooms and hallways need a refresh. No AC rooms, but ceiling fan helped. No TVs in rooms or USB ports. A small, windowless TV lounge is available. Ice machine was leaking all over carpet on lower floor. Enjoyed my stay but the place is a little rough around the edges for the price.
We spend wonderful 3 Days in Sacacomie. The nature is incredible. We enjoyed the SPA with a great view and loved that canoes are to rent for free at the beach!
Amazing view and friendly staff and parking free but everything charg for breakfast and dinner and lunch no fridge and microwave in the room

Disliked: Cleanliness
The surrounding of this property are stunning, they have a lake view and plenty of trails, lots of wildlife etc. Our room was a good size, but it was very dusty and not updated. Food was fine, but expensive and the cafeteria like restaurant was very loud, especially with kids and large groups eating.
Overpriced. Spa still has to be paid seperately, we booked the expensive package which didn't work out. Poorly organitzed.
Only the surroundings with the view over the lake are beautiful.
The front desk staff was polite and helpful. The spa staff was VERY rude and dismissive. The pictures of the hotel are misleading. It is not in good condition. It is also not air conditioned. The view is beautiful and the location is secluded and peaceful though.
The hotel offers beautiful views and is set in a beautiful location. The entire building is made of wood, giving it a warm, cozy atmosphere. The staff were friendly, and the facilities were clean and well maintained.
That said, we don’t plan to return, as we felt restricted by the schedule and reservation policies. We stayed for one night, but the spa only opens at 10:00 a.m. and checkout is at 11:00 a.m., which left very little time to enjoy it. Dining was also inconvenient, reservations were required for every meal, and the only available times were either very early or very late, even though the restaurant was half empty. Staff explained this was to avoid everyone showing up at once, but the restaurant was half empty, especially for breakfast.
Lastly, we were surprised to see a mandatory 13% tip automatically added to our bill. While we had every intention of tipping, we believe it should be left to the guest’s discretion based on the service provided. Food and drink pices are comparable to what you'd find in New York or Vancouver. If you are going there, try to book a package.
First of all location - amazing, a fantastic location for a hotel, incredible views, the lake is beautiful and the water activities are well organised including kayak, canoe, paddle board, etc. As for the hotel and staff - this leaves a lot to be desired. First of all the welcome was extremely unfriendly which got things off to a bad start, followed by being told that there was a $40 charge per person to use the spa, which was free when we last stayed. Given this is advertised as a spa hotel, it's pretty ridiculous to expect guests to pay extra for it...these charges crept in elsewhere too including a $30 "hotel service fee" at the restaurant, an unwelcome extra cost on an already very pricey meal...this feels like a hotel struggling for revenue and adding extra costs all over... As for the room, the first night the room felt like an inferno and none of us slept. Thankfully we were moved to a cooler room the second night and were able to sleep. Rooms overall in need of refurbishment, leaky toilets, broken coffee makers etc. Hotel needs a wholesale refurb!
