Hotel niet meer actief

Het hotel is niet meer actief! Er werkt niemand! We kwamen niet binnen! Daar aangekomen liet een buurman weten dat het gebouw al maanden leeg staat! Belachelijk dat dit hotel nog online staat trouwens!

Uniek is de ligging. Onze boeking was niet doorgekomen bij het hotel. Omdat het hotel vol zat konden we daar niet verblijven terwijl we ons hadden verheugd op een aantal dagen weg. Het hotel had ook geen alternatief voor ons.

Äußerst lieblos – mieses Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Unfreundlicher Empfang. Zimmer mit Gartenblick bedeutete wenig grünes Gestrüpp, viel Müll. Zimmer mit Meerblick allesamt nicht vermietet, da angeblich Klimaanlagen defekt. Zimmer wurde während des Aufenthalts nicht einmal geputzt, frische Handtücher gab es nur auf Anfrage. Immerhin wurden täglich die Kakerlaken vom Gang gefegt. Von der Frühstückskarte war das meiste nicht erhältlich, das Restaurant war nicht in Betrieb. Pool nur ein Planschbecken, keine Liegestühle vorhanden. Lange Liste mit Regeln für die Gäste, aber scheinbar keine fürs Personal. Die einzigen beiden anderen Gäste, die während unseres Aufenthalts da waren, wurden eine Nacht ausgesperrt, Personal war keines erreichbar. Sie haben dann, als sie keine Handtücher mehr hatten, mit uns die Unterkunft gewechselt, obwohl auch sie im Voraus bezahlt hatten. Wir haben so etwas in dieser Preisklasse noch nie erlebt und können vor dieser Unterkunft nur warnen. Schön war nur der Blick von der Terrasse aufs Meer.

Good location near the beaches at Wespunt. The bed & breakfast offers a lot of possibilities. During our stay there was no internet in the room. The TV reception was terrible. The B&B was understaffed: one man was receptionist, handyman, cook and waiter at the same time.

Sauberkeit ließ beim ersten Zimmer zu wünschen übrig. Zimmer wurde gewechselt und war daraufhin "ok". Personal oft sehr lustlos und man hat sich teilweise gar nicht willkommen gefühlt. Atmosphäre bzw. die Aussicht hat einiges gut gemacht. Allerdings würde ich es nicht weiterempfehlen. Man sollte zusätzlich keine Scheu vor Kakerlaken haben :)

Spacious room close to great Western beaches

The hotel was quiet despite it being (apparently) full. The room was spacious and OK for a short stay. Breakfast in the terrace with a view was a nice way to start the day. My only concerns were the smell of camphor in the room and the almost complete absence of personnel at the reception for questions or requests. Internet worked OK. There is parking space in the back of the house (steep way up!) and the hotel is close to Playa Forti and Playa Grandi and within a few driving minutes from other beautiful beaches in the North West of the Island.

Wij zijn hier een week geweest en vonden het een uitstekende locatie in tegenstelling tot het drukke Willemstad. De ontvangst op het latere tijdstip was hartelijk. Onze kamer was goed. Alles werkte en het bed/ontbijt was prima. Het personeel vriendelijk. De parkeerplaats is wat krap maar we hebben de auto altijd kunnen parkeren. Het uitzicht vanuit het restaurant/zwembad is prachtig. In de directe omgeving mooie stranden/restaurants. Kortom genoten.

The place is really nice, and has a great view. You cant compare it to hotels in Willemstad since you are in the West Punt, yet it's a great value for the price.

Staff apperars to unable to smile due to their seemingly constant state of misery. Room on the lower level looked out over the driveway, no gardenview. Shower drain is in the highestpoint of the resevoir resulting in some moulding in always wet lower part. View from the deck was nice, breakfast was ok.

Es war eher ein Hotel als ein B&B. Kleine, aber saubere Zimmer. Recht abgelegen, dafür aber wirklich gutes Frühstück mit frischem Obst. Abends werden auch preiswerte und leckere Abendessen a la Carte angeboten. Da es am Abend eine "One-Man-Show" ist, muss man hier genügend Zeit einrechnen... es lohnt sich aber definitiv!

This is a no frills hotel, breakfast is simple but plenty enough. It's in a quiet part of the island, but well situated for swimming, snorkeling and eating out - plenty of restaurants in the area. To us it was far more preferable than staying around Willemstad with the big hotels and busy beaches. The room we had was certainly adequate, clean and with a lovely view over the town and water.

Out-of-the-way lodging that's great if you're after a quiet escape. Staff was friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. Biggest drawback was that we were forced to find a different hotel our first night, after we arrived late at night and made the trek all the way out to Punta West just to discover that nobody was available to let us in the building or check us in (despite calling a week ahead and being assured someone would be there for us no matter what time we arrived).
