"The hotel is right next to the national park so great for hiking. The hotel is also in the centre of Saariselkä which is compact and pedestrian friendly so this makes it easy if you’re using buses to get in and out of town and don’t have a vehicle. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant are good. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly. Be aware that activities book out and so if you want to do more than hiking you’ll need to plan and book ahead."

The reception told me I do not need to make any booking for the shuttle the next morning to the bus stop. And it is €5 per person. In the morning, another lady at the reception said there is no driver because I didn’t make any advanced booking. And the shuttle is only to the airport. I have also received the welcome email that stated clearly there is a shuttle to the town for €5. The staff need to...
