"It's a nice place for the price, the only down side for me was just the location is a little noisy/ the walls aren't insulated well. But the staff were super helpful and friendly! Definitely a nice place to stay if you're on a budget. "

"Everything was great from start to finish. The room was well equipped, the beds were firm but comfortable. The pillows were probably some of the best I've ever had at a hotel. The breakfast was fabulous! Eggs made to order, fresh fruit, fruit juice, hot chocolate, coffee, bread with butter and cheese. Very good and filling. All of the staff were awesome and a special thanks to Andres (I apologize if I've misspelled his name), who gave us great tips on how to see the attractions we were...

"The area is unsafe. The property owner gave me room key but not the key for the front gate. So in and out of hotel, I need to ring the doorbell. If he is not in, I can’t get in."

"Hotel Casa Montero is a solid choice if you want to stay in the historic center of Quito. The entry courtyard is tranquil and inviting, and the beds are quite comfortable. A particular bonus was the size and functionality of the bath/shower -- really impressive! The staff was fantastic -- very kind and helpful. Overall, I had a great time here!"
